Topic: Events / Pet parties I Love Shure Pets... One of our biggest sponsors for the dog rescue. We use Columbus Top dogs (Shure Pets) for a lot of our dogs because they have really good Oatmeal Bath and Conditioner for the dogs with the senitive skin and allergies. Great companies that help rescues! |

Topic: Advice, Training And Tips / Multi-Dog Households ~ Packs I could never live without at least 2 dogs. Its so much easier with 2 then 1, weird eh? But 3 or more drive me nuts! ha ha Right now I have 5 inside 1 out, and I am about to go insane, I cannot wait til our one foster home comes back from vacation :) |

We are in process of obtaining it, but having trouble getting our articles EXACTLY how the state wants them. As soon as our amended articles are completed, we will be sending in our 501c3 paperwork. |

Topic: Rescues, Shelters And Adoptions / Save a life! Rescue a dog! BC= Border Collie.. LPR specializes in smaller breeds, usually 30lbs and under.. which anymore, thats all the rescues will do is small breeds. I started with all sizes, but my house is just too small. Especially since I have 2 young kids (boys 3&6). Valarie |

I am in Jackson Center, which is Northwestern, OH I believe.. I am smack dab in the middle of Dayton and Findlay. Kat, Kudos to your for rescuing the bigger dogs, there are sooo many in pounds. If my home was bigger and I knew what the heck I was doign with larger dogs, I would help em in a heartbeat. I have had a BC/Setter mix here for 2 yrs and I cannot train him for teh life of me, but yet, I can train an aggressive smaller breed... It boggles my mind :) Valarie |

Topic: Rescues, Shelters And Adoptions / Save a life! Rescue a dog! Hi all, I am new here and I LOVE this post!! I am Founder/President of Lil Paws Rescue (LPR) in Ohio, and I am so glad to have been referred to this site by Tina.. Rescuing is so rewarding and painful at the same time. Some of the dogs that come through here, are beyond abused. I just cannot grasp how people can do this to a living creature? I am not sure about the rest of you, but these pups are like my children.. I could never dream of hurting them! I want to thank all of you who support Rescue.. Its a dirty and expensive job and we couldn't do it without the help and support from all of you! THANK YOU!
