Dublin City Council (U.K) is to introduce a ban on eleven breeds of dog from properties including houses, flats and estates, with immediate effect. The breeds are: English Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, German Shepherd (Alsatian), Doberman, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Japanese Akita, Bull Mastiff, Japanese Tosa and Bandog. Cross-breeds of these dogs or crosses of these dogs with any other breed are also banned. Owners will be given the opportunity to rehouse the dogs but if alternative accommodation cannot be found for they will be destroyed. The council has taken the step to remove all "dangerous breeds" due to the increasing numbers of complaints from tenants and because of the legal implications associated with an attack taking place on one of its properties. The ban initially applies to council housing and all public areas within council estates." I would love to post John Gormleys email address here for you all but not sure if Im allowed to. So if anyone else wants to make thier opinions known then email or IM me and Ill give more details. Im not sure if I can post the petition link here either, so contact me . We cant let them do this, these things have a habit of snowballing to other areas of the world.

Have someone bounce a tennis ball while you click the exact moment the ball hits the ground. Then the moment the person catches it. Great game to perfect your timing :)

Great advice from Crazydoglady there. I was going to post but she said it all there already. It will take some time, be patient, your pup is only doing whats natural. I cant say agree with giving him a light tap on the back, flying your hands about over his head and body just makes them more fun to catch and latch onto.

Topic: Breeds Club / Rottweilers

Hello all, Im new here. I live with Cresteds now but my first lad was a Rott and I think they are the easiest breed to live with. Easy to train, adaptable (when you have a hangover they will chill out next to you all day), they love to see a smile on your face and they bond so strong. I adore them.
