we have 4 dogs all of which play fairly well together. The only annoyance we encounter is the endless barking the basset hounds supply...but thats just them.. they love to play and part of their playing is to be vocal..very vocal.. to keep sanity I make sure I feed them all at the same time so there is no fighting over food, they each have their own toys, I give them each their own time playing with them rubbing bellies..right now i have a basset hound trying to help me tytpe its a lot of work with a pack of dogs but so worth it~!!

I am totally in love with bassets..being a new mommy to 2 of them..they are funny and cute..they always come up with something new! I was hoping people with other bassets would share some of their stories too :-) and maybe some tips/advice to dealing with their ohhhh so stubborn nature :-)

hey all I'm new here too.. we are in Sparr, FL near Gainesville/Ocala..... We'd be up for a dog party :-) we have 2 bassets, 1 adult and 1 puppy, a mixed breed we rescued from the pound and a toy poodle we adopted at the humane society..so you can say we are a dog lovin family :-)
