she's now on royal canin skin support with excellent result. she's had much fewer episodes and those seem to correlate with dietary indiscretion near as we can tell.  her treats mainly consist of chicken (chicken tenders)and lamb treats (tiny tots).  we have tried greenies as they have no corn that i know of and only rice flour.

our veterinarian sells doggie sunblock.  i have read in books about dogs and hiking that any waterproof sunblock should work.  if she is light colored she may be more at risk than other dogs.  i would think that the other common sense things like staying out of the sun between 10 am and 4 pm would also help.  hope this helps!

any poodles out there with food allergies?  our oldest we believe to be allergic to wheat and corn.  she gets ear infections (fungal).  any one with a similar experience?
