Topic: Breeds Club / Maltese

I have had 3 Maltese dogs in my lifetime! The first one I purchased from a pet store when I was 19, she was abducted out of my front courtyard when she was 2 years old. It devastated me! My mom took me to a local breeder to check out the runt they were going to put down. She was so tiny and during feeding the other puppies had suffocated her, the breeder had to do CPR. The vet said she may not develop correctly so they decided to put her down. When we got there she toddled right up to me and licked me on the face, that was it, love at first sight! There was absolutely NO WAY I was going to let this amazing soul be killed for no good reason. My mom bought her for me (at a discount). She was my very best friend for almost 14 years. She had NO brain damage at all, possibly the smartest dog I've ever known, she was really very human. She went to doggy heaven in 2003 right before she was going to turn 14 (she died of hermangiosarcoma a liver cancer). My husbands best friend who loved her dearly had gotten 3 Maltese's for himself, he was showing them. He decided to breed his Katie to give me a puppy (I was so grief stricken after Savannah died it took me months to function). His Maltese Katie had 2 puppies June 4, 2003, 1 boy and 1 girl. He suprised me with the girl puppy. I know have Cali who will be 5 this June, she's the most amazing selfless present anyone has ever given to me! She's a joy. I absolutely LOVE maltese's and will always have one in my life!

Topic: Breeds Club / Siberian Huskies

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Slush!!! He's such a fun, wonderful, loving dog! He will be 2 on June 24th, and what a 2 yrs it's been! LOL! He's really quite mellow for a Husky, as long as he gets his runs and play time that is! ;o)

He has the most stunning often frightening blue eyes with black eye liner around them! He's all white so we get a lot of comments on that! Of course all he has to do is look at me with those eyes after digging a new hole in the yard and he's right out of trouble. (we decided to use it to our advantage and just plant new plants in the holes!)

Topic: Breeds Club / Wolf a breed?

Hi,

I have a wolf hybrid, his mother was wolf his father a german shepard. He is now 13 yrs old and one of the sweetest souls on the planet earth. He is not an Alpha at all, quite the opposite. He is and always has been VERY pack oriented. When he was younger he would try everything and anything possible to escape the house if we left. Other than that he has never had any other problems. He is very protective of us (his pack) however since we are all alpha over him he backs down on command. He also craves and lives for LOVE. So if we say someone is "ok" he will immediately go to them for affection!

Your hybrid is beautiful, looks like some husky in him! (we have one of those also!)
