Our Shiba, Manny, definately barks! Plus he really yodels! Especially when hubby comes home with carry out food :0) He can be quite the sissy about his paws also. He used to "do that scream, that scared the heck out of you" when you wanted to do something with them, but he has since learned that usually just means that Mom is going to dremel his toe nails, which now he loves (we make a big deal out of it with treats). He is not really a digger unless it is in sand to just dig for fun. When he was younger he had to stay on leash also, but now he minds pretty good off leash. All in all, he has been a real excellent dog! No health problems to speak of at all. Had his teeth cleaned one time though. My main gripe about the breed is maybe how much he sheds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's just totally amazing sometimes how much hair comes off that boy. He is also a big time lover and always wants to rub his head on your hair. When he was a baby he really looked like a baby seal, it was LOVE at first sight! Manny loves to chew also, but he never tears anything up. He is a bit stand-offish. His most favorite pastime is chasing and hunting squirrels.

Boy I sure hope so Tina!!! If I would of been there I went of went to the jail for the dog. No way would I have left without him and took him somewhere for immediate medical help.

In 2007, as part of an art exhibition, Guillermo Vargas took a dog from the street, tied him to a rope in an exhibit, and let him starve to death as people watched. Video of the dog can be seen here:

OK, I just went and clicked, but all I see is bunch of cute pics with doggie dollar amounts under them. I still don't get it. Where do you redeem them??????? Here at the site???? Then sometimes I see on other doggies profiles those cute pics. Lately it was the Easter Egg. Does that mean that they spent those doggie dollars?????

I am real worried about it! Here in Las Vegas they have found a very high concentration of drugs in the water. We have a well, but we are still buying bottled filtered water for our dogs and ourselves. Can never be too careful in this day and age, that's for sure!!
