Wow, what a pointless thread to post just to personally attack a specific breed of dog.

What makes YOUR breed any better? Your breed hasn't attacked, bitten, or mauled someone or something? Yeah, right.

I'm not even going to go into detail, beause if you get me started on Pit Bulls, I won't be able to shut my mouth and will say something I'll regret. So I'll spare you.

But know this: Never judge someone based on the breed of dog they own. Never judge a dog by its breed.

It's not something you should treat at home.

From the sounds of it, it's a Hot Spot, and is usually caused by food allergies.

What are you feeding?

Usually, a dog will need a Cortisone cream from the Vet to treat those, because they can be painful and become infected quickly.

Check with your Vet about it, and maybe look into a different food!
