I tried to ignore the personal attacks. I never said anything against any of you personally. So now Im a  troll because I have different opinions. What's the point of having an open forum discussion if we all agree?

Oh I stirred something up when someone else mentioned deer hunting. I didnt know car accidents caused by the overpopulation of deer couldnt be helped by HUMANELY controlling deer population.The only solution is to make a SPORT or GAME out of their death? If Michael Vick's dogs deserved a fair chance at life then why don't these deer? So its okay to kill deer and not dogs? Ok maybe murder isnt murder in your opinion. This coming from the Troll ,Charles Manson who has already murdered dogs across the world because he's considering breeding his dog one day. Question.. What if the buyers interested  in the pups my dog produces never had any intentions of adopting?Only want a pup.Only want a dog that looks like mine. How many dogs did I kill then?  OH I get it ,no breeders no options but to adopt.Why not just outlaw dog balls? We'll never see a new pup again and every dog will have its day.. Am I rambling yet?Troll wasting your bandwith?

Is there a problem with me wanting another dog? Oh its a toy dog and my untrained pitbull is gonna join me on my murder spree.

End of the day, my dog barked at some deer . I was proud of him so I blogged about it. Forgive me for expressing the love I have for my pet on his page. I don't share the same views as many of you. I believe all Life deserves an equally fair chance. I guess I don't deserve to be here because this is a forum for doglovers only

YES Dog Fighting is wrong and I will stand clear of the continued argument over the punishment Vick should recieve. However I am very much against deer hunting and think all of you who support or make excuses for this are hypocrites. Just because we don't have deer as pets does not mean they don't have the right to live. Pitbulls are an overpopulated breed. Should we hunt them??????? The problem isnt that there are too many deer. The problem is that there homes, land, forrest , is being destroyed by rich ,greedy developers.To air hunting on sports networks and parade a dead deer or fawn in front of the camera for the SPORT is just as bad as dog fighting if not worse. I know this is off topic and Ive made several statements already as to the fairness of Vick's sentence but I have to oppose all of you hypocrites who support the murder of innocent deer for sport and excuse it as population control

Murder is Murder .It is up to God to decide who enters the Gates of Heaven and Only he should be thy judge.Let he who is withou sin cast the first stone

I repeatidly stated I felt Vick was wrong and his sentenced of imprisonment by the U.S government was fair. I feel many of you who desire Michael Vick to be burned ,eaten alive and further punished finacially was unfair. yes I originally posted his treatment as unfair so that I can be opposed to the opinions  of many of you who felt this way..One or 2 post later I completely agreed that Michael Vick's sentence was fair. If you feel you want to turn this around and make it about me instead of you inability to forgive then feel free.

Obviously you're not a Richard just an idiot as I stated in the first line that I agree his sentence is fair. However this being a forum Im allowed and  expected to provide my opinion. Its my opinion that we as humans should be capable of forgiveness and should forgive Michael Vick and hope that he has learned his lesson and never harm another animal again.Our forgiveness has more power than your hate and desire to see him punished beyond what he has been sentenced.  What is your point and why are you attacking me because of my opinion?

My point has been repeated.I agree that his punishment was fair and Im against any idiot who wants him to burn,bankrupt or spend additonal time in prison.We should forgive Michael Vick and not pray on his downfall rather that he understands his wrongs and will help fight animal cruelty as proof of his change. We should have more love man more than beast. Those who oppose dog fighting should also oppose  any GAMING,BullFighting and murder of horses unable to race.

Yes you said it..You grew up in the country where life is very different.. Im not gonna say you were raised better because my parents would have punished me forever if I had let it be known my dog was used to fight.

However, where u and your friends may have wanted to  prove whose dog had the most skills,or who was faster, we grew up where dominance, strength , agressiveness , and the better protector supersceded who was the better fetcher or fastest .

I grew up in a time and place where your machismo meant a great deal as to who u were.

Many people get dogs for strength/Have you ever heard the term ,If u scared get a dog?

Okay Im rambling..My point this time is that dog fighting is as common as backyard wrestling if that relates to you better. ITS COMMON.

Yes u are 100% correct Michael Vick is a star therefor a role model He should not have been involved. I dont believe in "making an example" of a man by taking away his freedom and ability to support his family. He should donate more of his riches to animal support groups and his celebrity to  fight against ALL Animal Cruelty

should allow you to forgive Michael Vick and pray that he never hurts another animal again. However anyone who wants Vick to suffer, or have his kids not see their father for beyond the maximum punishment he's recieved should really take a deep look into themselves and ask why you are incapable of forgivness

I didnt do anything about it because I was 10..Yes I grew up in an urban neighborhood where  if you walk your dog down the street and u happen to bump into someone else walking their dog you kno there is confrontation.. They bark, they growl.Sometimes you wondered who was the toughest. Since it seemed like they wanted to fight anyway, some people would let them..There wasnt an organization, no rings, no training facilities..Just the nature of animals wanting to confront one another and young kids who wanted to prove their dog was the stonger./

Were we wrong? Yes Should we have been imprisoned for what our dogs wanted to do>?  NO

No of course Vick and company took this too another lever..Yes he deserves prision  BUT AGAIN Why not Hunters? Dont give me that over population of deer crap ..or what is said to be legal and what isnt..ITS MURDER!!!  Who disagrees?  If so why aren't u complaining and taking part in making GAMING Illegal?

I forgive because God wants us to forgive. And I choose man over animal. I love my Dog but he is my Dog. If man hadnt decided to tame this beast and bring him home, they would be running the wild fighting for mates and hunting for food.

Im all for the dog lover .Yes Vick was wrong..I live in Atlanta .I just hate watching PETA and others protest @ and around the GA DOME.No Food Drives for all the homeless that camp out over there No Nothing for man

That was horrific however Vick was apart of a huge ring of pitfighters and cant be blamed for every single heinous act commited against these dogs.

Of course there was the financial morive for what Vick was doing.I think it just became a hobby that grew from childhood. Ive known about pit fighting since I knew about pitbulls.  It some parts of our society its common. Always has been.I agree Vick is wrong. I just dont believe the fight against animal cruelty stops with him..However no more news about pit rings being broken up. No in depth looks into other animal cruelty,atleast covered by the media so that others can get involved. Look a year later we are still talkin about Vick and what has changed besides  him being imprisoned..Dont dare believe dog fighting has stopped or even chilled a little..Not even in VA. Someone has picked up where Vick and company left off

Nadia  how could you have so much love for dogs but so little for people. Regardless of his crime Vick is still a man, who deserves forgiveness. Yes God forgives him. You should too. First let me say Ive owned Pitbulls all my life and have never abused or used them for fighting. Each has been like a member of my family.

Now to the topic. Vick's sentence was extremely unfair. For all of those opposed to Michael Vick and want to feed him to their Dogs I suggest you intially look at yourself and figure out how u could be so violent to a Human Being. I love animals but people first please. Next I would turn to sport networks and ask them how they could show deers being hunted ,murdered,and then grabbed by there antlers with a camera in their face and shown off, DEAD.Now how about you vote against McCain and his support of the NRA. After your show of support there we can move on to horse racing. What happens to a horse whose been raced nearly to death that breaks a little bone in his leg and cant run??

Pitbulls are Gladiators.Warriors, bred to fight. It is up to us to train and socialize our dogs to act against this instinct. But to take away a man's career, the way he supports his family because he chose to make a hobby out of this breed's instinct is WRONG! People before we decide to hang a MAN and feed him to the wolves or our own dogs lets stand together and find the true injustices to ANIMALS and HUMANS not just our DOGS

My APBT is the Greatest Dog ever. This is the 3rd pit I've owned and I must say APBT's are the most loyal of breeds. We live in Atlanta GA where pitbulls are well accepted. We walk through Piedmont Park, where most larger breed dogs hang out and are often greeted and social with all soughts of people and breeds. Im from Brooklyn NY , where since a kid we were taught that pits are the tough breed. Who out barks who and who scares the other dog off. I truely believe that with the help of other such as youselves will change the mindset of people who fear this breed.
