Topic: Breeds Club / American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers

I own a cocker spaniel/APBT mix and she is my first very own dog. I've had other family dogs, but none of them had the personality like my baby does. It's amazing how people will think when they look at her that she is some sort of other breed other then a APBT mix, when i tell them proudly what she is mixed with they just kinda look guilty like they came in contact with the devil and shook it's hand. At work i hung a pic up of her on my wall and at first i ran around showing everyone my baby until the tech guy made a comment about what breed she was, he presisted to say "aren't they violent dogs?" like he expected me to say yes. i gave him a look that could have skinned him alive and told him to get him self educated. the next day i hung a huge APBT calendar on my wall next to my baby's pic and showed him every single months pic. and explained to him that he's ignorant and a obviously has no free will to think on his own, cuz if he did he couldn't believe such horrible stories that have led to fear of the unknowing in people just like him self.

She convinced my sister that not only the breed has been misjudged, but inspired her to adopt a APBT of her own. Now my Mana has a sister! Well she has two sisters but the other one is a mini whinner dog. :)
