Definatly use a specific time frame for feeding, we have to do that with Cortana otherwise she will just play with her food and not eat it  after a few times of not eating he'll get the idea that he needs to eat when his bowls are down.  Also brown rice chicken and no sugar plain yougurt can help also you could try using unsweetened apple sauce to intice him to eat.  If you try a new dry food just mix in a few of those things along with a little water to soften it up and he should start being less picky.  Also no food from your plate while he's in this picky stage!

I was home all day and she didnt get into anything.  This just started happening at around 7pm.  Should I go to the evet or does this sound like it can wait till morning.  She did eat her dinner after I mixed it with water and that was at 745.

I think Cortana is teething.  She has alot of drool coming from her mouth and when she walks her head hangs lower than normal and she isnt as playful.  I cant find anything else wrong with her, her temp is normal and she's drinking and using the bathroom as usual, but when I ran my finger along her gum she whimpered so I think she's teething.  My question is, is there anything else I can do apart from softening her food and giving her those chilly bone things to chew on that would ease her pain?  Can I put baby oragel on her gums or do they make puppy oragel?

Im planning on taking cortana to puppy classes but I don't know how soon.  She's UTD on her shots but not spayed, She's only 3 months old but should I wait until after she gets spayed or will it be ok to go before??  Also does anyone have any advice on teaching her, her name?  Ive tried saying her name while feeding her and while holding her and petting her but she still doesnt respond.

Cortana because there was no way I was going to the dog park and have to yell "Master Chief" to get her to come to me.  Besides Master Chief is a boy.  Anyway to keep it with the Halo 3 theme my husband wanted I suggested Cortana.  Seriously he was sold on Master Chief!!!  Thankfully she's a girl and Cortana stuck!

No normal everyday people do not breed quality dogs.  take for example the puppy I was considering buying this weekend.  I was a "blue nosed pit" I showed up at the "breeder's" home and I had my other dog with me in order to see how she would react to a new ball 'o fuzz.  I began to question these "breeders" about the parents health, tempermant and so called registration.  They were not able to answer one of my questions.  I then asked to see the parents, I couldnt because momma didnt like other females and I had Emily with me and the father was not even theirs.  These pups were close to 10 weeks old according to the "breeder" but they had not had any shots or even seen a vet.  then to top my visit off two gentleman of questionable intent arrived unannounced and asked to look at the puppies.  they asked for the largest male and female plunked down cash and left, this "breeder" didnt ask for a name, where they lived, or what they intended to do with the puppies.  she just sold them!!  This is a normal everyday "breeder"  What you describe are the cause of over crowding in shelter and why countless dogs have to be put to sleep everyday.  It makes no sense to breed two dogs of common decent when there are plenty of dogs without homes.  True breeders have the paperwork and the bloodlines to breed sound dogs.  The common person doesnt invest the love time or money that their puppies deserve so they dont end up in a shelter.  These common people dont even ensure their puppies go to good homes.  Everyone except registered and licenced breeders should spay or nuter their dogs.  I am ashamed of myself that I would have even consider buying a puppy from a "breeder" like that.  There are so many ignorant owners in the world that breed their dogs just because they are cute or trying to make a quick buck,  this world would be so much better if you would stop promoting breeding and start promoting rescues and spay nuter laws.
