my mommy was reading this forum and she started to read it to my daddy and i heard alot on what this cornball was saying and i heard my mommy say she needed glasses to read this idiots typing and she doesn't even need or own a pair of glasses (LOL).  i am thinking for myself since i am an am staff and my sister is a the bully breed of the pitbull,  i don't agree with what he is saying nor does it hurt me becasue i know what kind of dog i am and i know how calm, humble, and down to earth i and my sis are but i wish people like him could be more educated to what type of breed we are.  he is entilted to his opinion and he doesn't have to like me or my sis because we are still going to be who we are in the next hour, tomarrow, and next week.  it doesn't make him a bad person just needs to be more educated cause if i saw him i would just give him a wet willy when he wasn't looking!  oh and my daddy says that he was always brought up with the old saying if it has teeth it will bite you!  and that's dog cat or austrialian!!!!   but all in all this is my daddy talking now, i am a pit bull trainer and breeder and have been doing it for 12 years and if you knew anything about the breed they are all people friendly not just saying the ones that have been abused mistreated or thrown to the side for a piece of cash this is the breed and i have also met alot of mistreated and abused dogs and they have kept somehow some way their humbleness and gentleness to still love and respect a human.  my friend you might want to stay into the crocs (lol) because that is the only thing that i know that does not care about what it attacks.  may sound like some racisim but i have raised loving gentle family pit bulls and it does not matter what or who is in the home, i would say check out the top 10 dog attack list and see who is first and pit bulls are number 7 to the last so go do the math.  you will probally be more likely to get attacked by a chiahua (spelling) before a pit bull.  don't take that personal to all my friends and lovers of other breeds of dogs just trying to make a point! (LOL)

my husband taught our dogs by saying thank you when they did what they were being trained to do, and now when we ask them to do something and we don't have to tell them twice we say thank you and they know that they did somethig rite.  he has taught them how to dance, lay down, sit, and roll over.  he was teaching them how to shake but he is in dog training school now.  but when he gets a chance i know he will accomplish that with them.

the reason why i asked this question is because my husband and i were on this site (which is supposed to be a site where you can go and discuss apbt and bully without being judged).  but boy where we wrong.  i think that they love their ego's more than they love their dogs.  they act like if you have an opionion and they don't agree with it you are wrong and they are rite.  i know several people who were on there and they got banned for just commenting on some of the forums.  and to make it so bad they were not negative they were just trying to give their opinion and help new comers.  i noticed that they also slammed people for their spelling when they had more spelling and grammer mistakes than anyone else.  they also cussed at you but then again they banned people for cussing.  all in all though if you know anyone with a passion for the apbt breed i would never tell them about that chat line.  in fact i told the people who got banned about this site and how wonderful ya'll are so hopefully thet will make this their new home to talk about issues with their dogs.

i totally agree w/ you.  my husband refuses to buy cheap dog food and dog food w/ bad ingedients in it.  we get ours from pet supply plus.  how much do you pay?  we paid around 45.00 in all w/ tax for the 40lb bag but the guy at pet supply plus told us that they were gonna go down to the 35lb bag for  the same price.  we will be stocking up on alot of it.  oh yeah my dogs love it so much that our cats try to eat it and we find them trying to sleep on their bowls.

high, we are new to the line.  just read your forum and wanted you to know it was excellent and you pretty much summed it up.  we have 4, and pups on the way and they are our joy!  they are silly but very loyal and willing to do anything for you!  my husband came from a family who raised pibull terriors and has experienced many episodes that were fun, loving and also educational for him growing up.  he is now a dog trainer and it is because of this breed.  we met and i wondred why he watched animal planet all the time, until one day i asked him and he replied he got tired of seeing pit bulls put to sleep because of bad owners.  so he wanted to make a change and give them a chance to redeem themselves, and i fell in love w/ him even more (not just because of the dogs lol)  because of his humbleness and dedication he has for the breed.  we have 100% razors edge and one staffy and he is the picture that everyone sees.  by me getting into the breed they have tought me that they are my protectors, my babies, they are very loyal, they have laid back personalties, they act human, and no offence to anyone but, they have the worst gas i have ever smelt in my life (LOL)!  i have learned to just turn the other cheek and my husband gives one back!  i know all this seems a little funny maybe even strange but it's good to educate people who don't have one, or, who just might be thinking of getting one.  i do know they do need training first, and the rest will come.  so keep up the good post!  ya'll are cool in our book.  derick, lindsey, pmp, midnite, blue cotton candy, liquid steel, oh and we can't forget our fur balls ferby, and chris!

we went to pet supply plus yesturday and got a 40 lb bag of the canadea and the doggie treat biscuits and our babies love it.  i know it has only been a day but by the way they ate and the way they wanted more treats i think it is a winner.  we were on the nutro plan chicken and rice but i think this out does them!  but not knocking the nutro what so ever that is an excellent dog food also. diamond lovers not knocking either because we used that before we went to nutro.  oh yeah they are still licking their chops (lol)!
