We've noticed that on some profiles there are many page of barks (including mine).

Should we automatically delete the old ones - we were thinking of deleting anything over 100 barks.

(This will only apply to profile pages).

Hi Astrid - nothing changed on our side. And as you can see from the site - others are barking away. Mac+Safari is fine too.

Try a bark on my page - it may be a connection speed issue.

The email is sent once a day in a summary format - this is to avoid 'spamming' everyone.

Also - when you go to 'dog house' tab - there are 'bark' tabs that shows all the recent barks, pal, yours etc.

The dog's main photo will be picked for the contest.

The new code is based on ReCaptcha . It actullly helps the internet archive to digitize books (http://recaptcha.net/learnmore.html). So you are indirectly helping a good cause to encourage reading.

Basically, those code that are hard to see - you are helping the archive to work it out.

It is a system widly used on the internet now.

(There is a refresh button by the text field that will re-display new code if it is impossible to figure it out)

The most common issue with photo is the size - they are typically too big to upload.

Once suggestion is to try the resize link on the help pages.

Some members don't access the site - but use the badge (widget) to display their profile elsewhere.

However, for various display on the site - like the battle for cutness, home page etc, we show members that are active o the site.

2) you need to refresh you browser

If you are getting an extension error - then its most likely it does not recognise the photo format.

Please take a look at the help page  - there is a link there to convert your files.

We were thinking of auto-deleting email that are over 60 days old from both the in and out box.

Thanks for the support.

We don't mind members posting sites that is of benefit to the community (rescues, etc). But we do object to members posting sites that are purely for profit (with no added value for our members) and taking advantage of our community of dog lovers.

LynnMannasmon: each member currently have a blog area. Is that what you meant?

We are looking into different ways to earn more dollars and adding more gifts to the system. We want the gifts to be special - if they are too easy to obtain, then their 'special' attributes are diminished. (We know members appreciate obtaining these gifts - especially if they know that the giver had to give up hard earned dollars for it too)

At what age is a dog considered a puppy?

Less then 1 year?

(We are going to use this information for the battle for cuteness)

You can now opt out of the Battle Of Cuteness.

Login and select settings (the smiley icon) at the top.

The go to 'site settings' and there is a checkbox for opting out.

We've also tweaked the photos so that only members active in the last 5 days are entered into the battle.
