Good question…I wondered about that too so going to jump on the wagon here and see what reply you get!!!, as far as I know you can only delete one bark at a time, unless its ok to select all and then cut…...but I do not know…..best wait until someone with the savvy says how to!!! lol

I would be more interested about the number of dogs that do clean their own face!!. Tessa is thirteen and the only pet cleaning that goes on around her is her watching the cat!!  As said in the previous post….I have always done it!, just keep an eye (LOL) on the eyes incase your dog has a slight infection, but I am afraid as far as I know with dogs it is always mums job!!!...but hey could be I have the laziest dog in the kingdom  lol   good luck!!!

I usually clean them out myself, I never let it get to bad, they sell wipes especially to do that and so it doesn’t irritate the eye.. to me it’s kind of like having an baby, if you don’t do it, than who will? lol

shepgirl182 i am against the BSL not just for shepherds but for all breeds. cause well a dog of any sort deserves tp go for a walk in the park like anyone. it just lik saying that kids with blonde hair or something arent aloud to go for a walk there. so dont think that i agree with the BSL list cause if it was on a peice of paper i would burn it if i got the chance. it a load of shit! to me there just well guidelines..

i would of spoken to u anyway as i said so wat if u own one i dont care i just said that i didnt like he breed that doesnt mean that if u own a purebred pitbull or itbul mix i wouldnt talk to u i dont care wether u own one or not a friend of mine owns a pitbull mix. sure hes chased around the backyard and up a palm tree but thats only cause we weree playing tag a war and he got a little bit to happy. it was still fun. as i said i like them but well i dont i dont no its complicaed. i dont feel the same for this type of breed as i do others.

Clean his or her own eye boogers?

We got Maxx just after 8 weeks..so you’d think he would’ve learned the skill, but he will not touch them, or clean his face and lick his paws like most other dogs do.

Unless the eye booger becomes insanely long and fold back on itself and irritate his eye…

Is there a remedy or should I stock up on paper-towels for the do-it-yourself job?

what is going on? why are people on this site now trying to prove that specific breeds are bad?... I told “wawatay” they took the prize on the stupidest forum topic on MDS, but this one is just as stupid.

And sadly (not trying to offend anyone) I wouldn’t expect this from 2 “german shepherd lovers” If you claim that rotties are bad and shouldn’t be pets, than whats the difference in owning a German Shepherd? Shepherds can be just as dangerous if taught the wrong way.

Any breed can be aggressive and attack, and I have actually heard more attack stories on shepherds than I have of Rotties.

Dogs depend on us to teach, train, feed, and provide love and shelter to them. They are what we make them…. you can only blame the owner for a dogs actions. you only know what is being said on the news or online but you don’t know the true facts behind each story.

People should really think before they speak

This is by far the stupidest comment anyone can say on MDS you take the prize on that one “wawatay”...

I know i’m not going to change your opinion on the breed and maybe knowbody else here will, but you should have thought about what you were saying before you first posted on the forum. Were all dog lovers on this site and there’s all different kinds of breeds and lovers of all these breeds. Just because you have an opinion on a breed doesn’t mean you need to post it for all the world to see, especially a bad opinion on any breed. You only got the reaction that you deserved from everyone on this site.

I personaly own a pit-bull mix, and don’t feel what you said was very smart about the breed. and I have talked to you before and you never mentioned to me your hate for the pitbull breed, but i’m starting to wonder if you would have talked to me if you knew I owned a pitbull mix?....

BSL (breed specific legislation) sets out to ban all sorts of breeds for very stupid reasons and it’s full of people who think like you (they hate certain breeds of dogs) and I know you love german shepherds just like I do, and shepherds are very high on the BSL list aswell and this is only because of people who hate the whole breed because of a few stupid owners.

sound familiar?.... what one person does or say can go a long way

I would just suggets you keep those opinions to yourself.

well you know if someone said something about shepherds that wasnt right either but how can you discriminate like that it is the owners responsibility to raise the dog right wether it be a tea cup or a monster size have you ever been around good pits they are loving and big babies yes there are people who do them wrong by fitting them but thats only cause there a strong breed there are also people who fight shepherds you just dont hear about it as much because they are suppose to be police dogs and as for pissing off no you publicly say how you feel so you cant expect anything less than what you are getting!!!!

To reject the dog as a friend on here, is also to reject the owner.  If the owner loves the dog VERY MUCH, he or she would stick up for that dog.  The first thing you said was that you would not be interested in being friends with a pitbull.  You don’t say that on here.  For the most part, this is actually the dog’s group.  The humans type for them (and sometimes put their two cents in).

When I volunteered at the shelter where Rosie & Madison were, the other volunteers & workers did their best to get me to adopt Madison.  They knew how sweet he was, and they saw me spending a lot of time with him (to get him adopted out into a loving home).  My money situation, and where I am living were the only two reasons I couldn’t adopt him.  (My mom doesn’t want a bunch of dog hair everywhere so we have dogs that don’t shed).

When Rosie was brought into the shelter, the man said he picked her up as a stray & was gonna keep her.  But their other dog (actually a small dog), kept trying to start a fight with her.
