Sorry to hear about your hip! I have some back problems my self (ellie) i have a slipped disk some days are worse than others but mommy helps me make it thought. The vet said that i would need surgery (ouch) but mommy cant afford it either...So the vet gave me some medicine and it helped a lil bit. Some days i can run and play just fine but other days i just have to lay around have have mommy carry me places sometimes. Hope to hear from you soon. And hope you get better!
