Harley's trying.
Well, Harley is back to hurting again. He fell yesterday and is having a hard time getting up. Back to the doctor's! Going to keep him in a kennel so that he can't do a lot of moving around and get a chance for that darn hip fracture to heal better. It's hard to see them like that when their brain function is that of a 6 month old puppy and their body is that of a 95 year old man...

Ask the vet about putting him on Ascriptin. Casey, the lab mix I had (pre-aussies for just short of 17 years), had arthritis and dysplasia. I would give her one in the morning with a lite breakfast, it helped mask the pain, a lot. Also a heating pad may also help. Hope he is feeling better.
