Dad called me "Ferocious Freddy"
Yesterday Mom and Dad took me out to the front yard to try to train me to stay in our yard and to come when called. I was doing really really good until the dog next door distracted me and I ran over to their yard. He is three times as big as me …. but I was not scared. I growled at him and started jumping on him and showed my teeth. He was a real gentleman and a good trained one that listens to his daddy and stayed down …..
Mom and Dad caught up with me and yanked on my leash and took me back to our yard. They told me they were very embarrassed and ashamed of my behavior!!! I thought I did good practicing my guard dog instincts ….. but I guess that was not what they had in mind …
Oh well ….

Today is my BIRTHDAY!!
Today I am a big 1 year old!! Yea.. For my birthday, mom & dad gave me lots of toys …We are still on vacation and having a great ole time. I get walks twice a day… it gets windy here sometimes and its hard walking against the wind but I have lots of fun playing in the sand and water.

My first day at the Beach!!!
Hi ya’ll … that is how they say it in North Carolina. We are here at the beach house. We left on yesterday … it was a 7 1/2 hour car ride but my mom and dad said I was a very very very good boy in the car. We stopped every 2 hours to stretch our paws. The house is right on the beach and we have a beautiful view of the ocean from two of the bedrooms and the living room …. Mom just loves it and listening to the ocean waves at night.
Today is our first full day on vacation. Mom and dad and I slept in this morning, and then enjoyed our breakfast and tea on the deck watching the waves come up on the beach. Then we went down for a walk near the water. I didn’t like the waves coming in but didn’t mind the water too much. We met many many dogs on the beach … i saw a mix lab, a cocker spaniel, and another lab. We had lots of fun chasing tennis balls in the water… I am pooped…..I tried to eat the sand but daddy said it was not good for a dog ….
Yawn!!! going to sleep now …catch ya’ll tomorrow….
Going on Vacation
Hi there
So glad to be back on the ‘puter. Mom has been crazy busy with work. Plus now, I am growing my adult coat in so she spends hours each nigh brushing me to keep my mats to a minimum. After that she is too exhausted to get me online to chat with my pals.
Mom and Dad tell me that we are going on vacation this coming week. I’m really excited … although I heard dad say it is going to be a long car ride and he is worried about my …uh … peeing in the car …. whatever does he mean? 
We are going to the beach …. 
... although I don’t like water much … mom said may be I’ll change my mind…
I will tell you all about it when I get back …with pictures of course….

How much can a dawg stand???
Oh boy!! of course I can’t tell time, but my momma said December has been a busy month. She keeps referring to something called Christmas … if it is anything like Thanksgiving .. Jiminy Christmas!! It all started with mommie and daddy taking me to see this man with a white beard in a red suit. I had my picture taken with him, they all said I was a very good boy. Then dawgs, you know what happened next? I saw lots of lights around the house – red, green, yellow, white on two trees, one in the hallway and one in the family room (my fav place). If that wasn’t too much to tempt a dawg’s patience, my older sister Tara came home from college. Between her and my older brother Brett, the mailman, the FedEx man, the UPS man, the flower man and Santa knows who else …. I swear the doorbell rings continuously. OMG, it makes my job, as a guard dawg very very difficult. It sure cuts into my nap time. People keep coming in and out of the house, visiting my sister and brother … phew, can a dawg get some shut eye??? Then …..... stuff start appearing under the tree …... for the most part they are very boring, but this morning, my sister Tara put something under there … and I soon dug my snout into it …. u know, it tasted really really really good to me … but when daddy caught me, he said i was a very bad boy and it could kill me …. oooooh, that didn’t sound too good (it was a Snickers bar). Anywhoooo, daddy called the vet and he said to keep an eye on me and if I had bad poopy to bring me in. Luckily, I didn’t – I guess I was more sturdy than they thought. Thank goodness, ‘cause I hate that vet. Can’t wait for Chrismas!!! Wiggles
My first Thanksgiving!!
Hi all – yesterday mom said I had my first Thanksgiving. All I know is it was still dark when mom and dad got up and went down to the kitchen. They left me in the bedroom telling me to go back to bed but I didn’t want to without them. After about 30 minutes, they came back up, crawl back into bed and said the “turkey” is in the oven. Mom’s family started arriving several hours later after mom spent several hours in a cooking frenzy (Dad was watching football). That’s the first time since I came to live with them that they had so many people over – I got so excited and scared, I peed and pooped in the hallway. I am so ashamed!
Dad took the big turkey out of the oven. I heard him say to mom that they are so lucky that I am such a gooood puppy and never showed any interest in their food and never begged for food either. What is begging???? Not that I will likely do it as I also heard dad say that he hated doggies that did that …. Uh uh, I’m not gonna do that …
Then they all sat down and ate …..
I guess that was Thanksgiving – getting up at dark, cooking all day and then all done in 30 minutes!!! and Wiggles with noooo Turkey!!
I graduated from puppy training ....
A week ago, I finished my puppy training. I was in class with 2 other puppies. One is a yellow lab named London – she is 10 times bigger than me. The other one is Chase – I forget what he is but he looks a little like me. Mom and Dad said I did pretty well. I already learned “sit” so that was easy. I learned how to walk at my mom’s and dad’s heel. I also learned how to shake and do high fives. The stuff I found really hard is “lay”, “leave it”, and “drop it”. You can understand, can’t you? It’s just too much fun to steal something especially socks …. I just can’t drop it or leave it quite yet. LOL

I have a slipper and sock obsession. Every chance I get, I sneak into the closet and steal my dad’s socks out of the laundry pile. I also love my mom’s fuzzy socks, the kind she wears now that it is getting cold. I stole one right off of her foot the other day. LOL. I also love their slippers and sleep on them at night.

Lost puppy tooth...
My mom told me I lost a puppy tooth last night. I was playing tug ‘o war with her. I didn’t even feel it.
A surprise!!!
OOH! I feel so much better today. Dad said I was myself again late last night.
Today, mom gave me a very first bone – with yummy stuff in it. I think this made up for what I went through yesterday. I have been at it since early this morning.
