My mom used to have a westie, he now lives with her parents in ohio. I miss him...hes not diabetic but he can only eat people food. Dog food always makes him sick :( So he eats better than most people do!

I love westies - big dogs in little white bodies. You might want to visit the Forum > health, diet & vets would be a great place to post abt diabetes.

Thanks for the nice welcome! Posting a diabetic forum is a great idea, and I will plan to do this. We are still learning to deal with diabetes in a dog. I also plan to blog from time to time on our experiences. We're all happy to be here!
