well i just want to let other pet owners to know, that when you rent a house and have to move. don't leave it messed up from whatever damage your pet caused. and make sure if there was a pet deposit that it covers all the damage...this is why i am unable to have my son's best friend come stay with us is because of someone else's mess before us.

Good Point. When we rented, we tried to set the bar a little higher. When we applied we also submitted a pet's rental application as well that included references. Our pets are spayed and neutered which means they are more likely to be calm and not mark in the house. We also crate train to keep our pets confined safely while we are gone. This keeps your pet safe as well as the apartment or house you are renting. Our landlord LOVED us. He used us as the standard by which he allowed other renters to have pets. They had to be fixed, they had to have shots (vet records) etc... Good post- 7dogs
