IN LOVING MEMORY OF TYSON

I got tyson in 1992,I had been looking for a female purebred bullterrier for a while, when a neighbour told me of a bully puppy around the corner and it was female.so i had to promise my husband i will only get it if she was a purebred.so of i went to this house up the road and when i got there this beautiful little white male bully x ran up to me.I picked him up and that was it,I said can i take him home now.I got home and he started vomiting he was full of worms and fleas,we took him to the vet and got him checked out got some needles and tablets and a good feed.I was hooked straight away.he was so clumsy.he loved going to the beach and swimming and will bark at the tap as soon as the sun comes out.he just loved water,over the years we probably went thru 10 hoses.tyson loved to chew things when he was little he ate the vacume cleaner lead (while plugged in) ate my brothers brand new leather shoes and his watch he got for his 21st birthday,which was found in about 10pieces in the back yard.tyson  was a indoor dog and never spent a night outdoors,( his choice) he started to get ear problems when he was about 6yrs old and had to go in and get ear flushes every couple of years and was on drops all the time.than about 1999 while playing at the oval he fell and started to yelp,we rushed him to the vet and he fell again i was hysterical i thought he was going to die.the vet told me not to worry he wasnt dying he just hurt his leg.they did some xrays and said it was arthritis,tyson put up with so much over the years, he was always at the vet.he was 14y1/2 yrs old and tyson had been having some really bad nights he couldnt get up unless we helped him.fell over a bit but he still wanted to play with his toys.And he loved his food so knowing the time was coming we gave him his favourites Red Rooster chicken,friedrice & chicken,pizza maccas etc.which he used to get maybe twice a week,now it was everyday for just over a week.He was rapt.than the day come 12/7/07 it was the worst day of my life, driving my best friend of nearly 15yrs to the vet.knowing we wouldnt be leaving together.We stayed with him and he was so brave.I will never get over tyson.
