My name is Sasha and I'm an American Pit Bull Terrier. Mom brought me home when I was about 8 weeks old, I was given to her by a friend who was unable to take care of me. Sissy was 1 1/2yrs. old at the time, and everyone gave Mom a hard time for taking me in. They said things like, "you're a bad parent for allowing such a vicious dog to be around your infant" or, "aren't you afraid she'll bite your daughter?" I''m not sure why they would say sauch silly things to her, I could never harm a human! Together, we decided to prove all those ignorant people wrong!

Mom & I took a puppy obedience class together. I really think she deserved the diploma, but for some reason they gave it to me! How absurd! For some reason, as a puppy, Mom would make Sissy pull on my tail and ears while I was eating! They are so silly, I always told Sissy I had to eat everything in my bowl before I was allowed to play, but she rarely listened. She still does it today, I can be eating a meal and Sissy will stick her hand in my bowl! I just sit and wait, I figure maybe she's just hungry too! I don't mind sharing!

We visited lots of places like the beach, the park, took lots and lots of walks around the neighborhood, we especially liked to visit Grandmommy & Granddaddy! Mom liked introducing me to new people and animals too! She still does! I think she calls it "socializing" or something like that.

In 2003, Mom & I were pregnant at the same time. My litter of 11 puppies was born on June 6th and about six months later, my baby sis was born. Puppies & baby were all born healthy! One of my pups lives right next door, we play all the time! My other pups live with friends of Mom & Dad.

We have a new puppy now, his name is Tank. Tank is VERY playful, I sometimes get tired just watching him run circles around me! Mom lets my baby sis do the same things to him while he eats his meals. I've told him several times to eat everything in his bowl before he's allowed to play, but we're still working on his listening skills!

My hobbies include, but are not limited to: going to the beach with my family, long walks, fetch, tug-of-war, and just relaxing.

I love my family and they love me!

My name is Tank, and I'm an American Staffordshire Terrier. Mom brought me home when I was about 13wks old. A friend of hers was going through a rough spot, and asked Mom if she could take care of me and my girlfriend, Mable. Mom was very sad to see us that first day. We hadn't been out of our kennel for a while and we had quite a few "accidents" that we were laying in. Unfortunately, Mom couldn't take us both home, only because I have two other sisters and Momma-Bear at home and there wouldn't have been enough room for all of us. Mom gave me a super bath that day! It was nice and warm, with lots of bubbles! Mom tried her best to get rid of the yucky rash that covered my belly and legs. For the most part it's cleared up, but it still pops up on occasion. I sometimes hear Mom tell Granddaddy that she still feels bad she couldn't take Mable home with us, and hopes she was able find a good home!

I love my new home! I have lots of people to play with! Mom has a heard of nephews and nieces plus I've got two sisters! I have a Momma-Bear (her name is Sasha but she's more like a Momma to me), we play alot but she also teaches me the do's and don'ts of the house. For example, I DO NOT touch her rawhide bones. She never told me why, but I figured it's in my best interest just to listen to her. She's also taught me NOT to get on the furniture and NOT to chew on Mom's shoes. There are still lots of rules for me to learn, but I'm definitely getting the hang of things.

My family can be a bit silly at times. I notice the girls tug on my ears and tail while I'm eating, they even put their hand in my bowl every now and then. When they do that I usually just sit back and wait for them to finish. I'm hoping they'll want to trade their food for mine one day, so I try to be as nice as possible!

I love when Mom takes us on long walks and to the beach! The girls let me play in the sand with them, just as long as I don't mess up their sand castles or bury their toys! Mom likes for me to meet new people, she even brings me around as many dogs as she can.

My favortie store is PetSMart. mom brings us along when we need shampoo or toys. I hope she brings us there soon because I owe Sasha a new rope! Sorry, Momma-Bear!

I have a new kennel that Mom & Dad bought me recently. It's HUGE!!! It's almost as big as a house! I used to have to sleep in it at bed-time AND when no one is home to watch me. Now I only have to stay in there if Sasha and I are home alone, Mom says she's afraid we'll mess the house up while she's gone. I sleep next to Mom's bed now! I try not to snore too loud because it wakes her up at night!

All in all I live a pretty good life! Mom says I'll be able to start training for weight-pulling once I'm big enough! I can hardly wait!
