Hi, I'm Samson.  I came to live with my family 9 years ago.  My previous owner was driving around the village where my present mommy lives.  He saw her outside and asked her if she wanted me.  He said that he also owned a Rotweiler and we didn't get along.  He said that he was afraid that the other doggy would hurt me so he was trying to find me a home.  Well mommy couldn't stand to think of this man giving me to a bad home so she said I could come live with her.  I was sooo  glad that she  gave me a home.  I have a human sister ( Kayla) that lives in Florida and a human brother( Ben) that lives at home with me.  I am very loving and protective.  My mommy's mother is disabled and lives with us and  her name is  Nana.  I follow Nana around all the time to make sure nobody hurts her.  Even if Nana gets aggravated with me because I never leave her alone and I always walk right in front of her wheelchair, she wouldn't have it any other way.  I share a home with A LOT of cats and a blue nose pit named Rocko.  The kitties always wants to luv on me and it gets on my nerves.  I KNOW everybody wants to luv on me but PLEASE I have an image to uphold and I can't let the other doggies see me luving on a bunch of kitties!  Rocko is only 5 months old and he gets on my nerves too.  He of course idolizes me and always wants to go where I go and do what I do.  KIDS!  I do manage to get him in trouble sometimes--Hee hee.  Young whipper snappers- they are so gullible.  I have 3 other  adopted  siblings but they live outside.  They are Luke, Delila, & Boregard ( Re-re for short).  They are OK because they live outside but I do have to remind them that I am the alpha male when I go outside to potty.  I am the TOP DOG!   Mom says I am overweight but I prefer to think that there is more of me to luv!  Well I can feel a nap coming on---my favorite pass time.  Feel free to look around!  You won't find too many pictures of me though--I run when I see the camera.  I am afraid that my good looks might break it!  Also, my mom did the My Cat Space first and spends most of her time there.  She thought that her canine babies deserved a space too and so here we are.  If you can't find us here try the MCS site.  I  honestly don't know why she spends more time on those annoying cats but I  then again I haven't been able to figure humans out yet!

Hi, I'm Rocko!  I am the newest fur baby at my house.  I love my new home.  I get to live in the house even though I have to sleep in the doggy jail they call a crate.  Mommy says she is afraid since I am so young that I might potty in the house at night.  OK, so I might have given her a reason to think this but I'm the baby give me a break! I love to play with the cats that I share my home with, especially Andy. He is young like me.  I also love to follow my doggie senior Samson around.  I idolize him because he seems to know so much but he says I get on his nerves!  So what!  I'm da baby gotta luv me!  I love to take walks with my human Ben and will take all of the attention that I can get.  I try to chew up everything that I can get my mouth on.  Mommy gets mad but I don't see what the problem is.  The world is my chew toy!  I am  learning to do tricks and why not--I do a few simple tasks and I get a treat.  Humans are so gullible!  Well time to play-spent to much time here.  Where's my ball?

Hey everybody!  I'm Delila!  I am the only female doggie here.  I have been spayed---Mom made sure of that!  I am very friendly, very loving, very energetic, & I love love love to jump! She says I have borderline ADHD.....oh look a ball!  Oh  sorry, where was I?  I get to go inside sometimes..I am house broken but mom says that I am to hyper to go in much.  I love Luke and he says that I bug him to death but I know he loves me.  Rocko and Re-Re are just as hyper as me so we really have lots of fun.  Mom's son Ben found people givin puppies away at a store and brought me home  (without askin).  Mom is a kitty person but it's a good thing she likes us doggies too.  She let  Ben keep me and here I am.  They almost lost me in July.  I contracted the Parvo virus even though I had all my shots.  The humans say that the virus is really bad in our area this year.  My buddy Chopper got it too but he was just too little to make it.  Chopper didn't even go out except to potty.  My mom took me to the emergency vet (it was on the weekend).  I stayed overnight and went home the next day.  Mommy is a nurse so she gave me my medicne and SubQ fluids and I pulled through OK.  I felt really bad for awhile but at least I was home with mommy.  Now I am as healthy as a horse at least that's what the humans say.  I love to jump...did I say that already?  I also love to take walks.  Ben walks us alot.  We have a big fence but a change of scenery is nice.  Speakin of which, I hear the leash rattling. Gotta go for now!

Hello!  I'm Luke!  I live in the fence with Delila  and my son Re-Re.  And no Re-Re did not get his attitude from me.  I am very friendly and  lovable.  I will defend my home but I am as sweet as a kitten unless I have a reason to be otherwise.  I am laid back and just lovin life.  I love walks and all the attention that I can possible get.  I hear a nap callin---gotta go!

Hello!  I'm Re-Re.  Yeah, that's what they call me but I don't mind.  That's my nickname b'cause I am a little on the crazy side.  OK--alot!  I am one of Luke's puppies.  My mom lives with my human grandfather and my brothers and sisters were adopted.  I don't like many people.  I just like my immediate human family.  I defend my home and my humans fiercely.  I am that way on my own and I am the only one here with my "sunny" disposition.  I have always been loved on and spoiled but I do have a mean streak in me.  I am way too big to stay in the house except in the winter when it is very cold.  I am housebroke though.  I get to play in the fence with Luke and Delila and this makes me happy.  I do have to stay on a chain most of the time (20 to 30ft chain).  I know that sounds mean but we live in a village with kids and I can jump the fence.  Mom has tried to get training for me and tried to work with me herself but I just don't like other people.  I have to be on a chain b'cause I'm mean not mean cause I'm on a chain. I have been known to bite strangers that I thought were gonna hurt mommy.  The vet and others have suggested putting me down but mom said "NO WAY".   Mommy tried to find a better home for me when I was little but I didn't act very well as I have mentioned, I don't like many humans.  So the only choice she had was to keep me and in such a way that I couldn't hurt anybody.   I do get to go for walks and I really like that.  I get to go in the house occasionally & out to the country to run around too at my human grandfathers house.  I can't stay out there cause I bit him once when he got too close to mommy ( what? how was I posed ta know he wuz her dad?) I  DO have all my shots. I am not vicious just misunderstood.  I am just tryin to protect what's mine.  I have a good thing and I don't want to loose it.  I even get along with all of her cats--- all of them.  That said, I can't be too bad huh?

Chopper was a very good dog. He loved to play with the cats and get under your feet. He contracted parvo and although everything was done to save him, he was just too young to make it. He put up a hard fight . He didn't want to go and leave his family but God decided that Chopper needed to go home. He was very sick and in pain and at least he is not suffering anymore. We couldn't ask for a better guardian angel. I was with him til the end and hope I was at least some comfort to him. We will miss him very much!
