New things for summer
Bow Wow! Have we been busy!!!!!
Now that we're settled into the new house there's so much to do.
Mom is out with us every day doing gardening and stuff.
She and dad put up a pen that I thought was for us pups. WRONG.
We have 5 chickens and 2 turkeys now.
I could spend all day running around that pen if Mom would let me.
I got nose to beak with one on the turkeys and it pecked me on the nose. They like to chase me too 'cept they stay in the pen. So, I run around the outside and they run on the inside. FUN!
Chloe likes chasing squirrels and Prarie and Chewey are lizard nappers.
Sadie is determined to dug up the tree by the barn. When mom or Dad catch her doing it, she hides under the honey house and WON'T come out.
We love our new home!
I love summer!!!!
The girls had to go home last week
. I miss waking them up in the morning. But, I heard that they've got 2 new peek mix puppies.
I know that the girls still love me though and they sent Chewey a birthday card.
We have pics of the pups. I can't wait to meet them.
I love summer 'cause of the 4th of July! I get to see Mark, one of my human brothers.
He's so much fun. As soon as he walks in, he gets down on the floor and plays with all of us. He's going to Navy school so we don't get to see him so much lately
.
Check out my new pictures.
Have a great 4th!
Havin' FUNNNNNNNNN
The girls are visiting and we were out playing baseball today. They don't mind when me and Sadie and Chewey run away with the ball. They just chase us, get the ball and start all over again.
We get to play in the sprinkler and pull the girls on their scooters.
Of course the best part is dinner time, something always falls on the floor!
Papa bought the girls each a baby turkey. Faith named hers Kathleen and Grace named hers Luna.
Mom named them Thanksgiving and Christmas
. She said she wouldn't ever eat anything that she named.
Time to put them to bed. More later.
whew!
Woof! Have we been busy!!!! Catching Honeybee swarms, moving, family( Aunt Roberta came back) visiting (with her husband Gene this time). Now The grands are here for the summer.
We're up to 34 hives now and we're living at "The Yard". Thats where we keep the bees. I have to teach the new kid (Sadie) not to go into the apiary. She's a quick study though.
It's great to be at my old stompin' grounds with my whole family. Lots more room to run and play.
Mom says it's time to help put the girls to bed, so, I'll tty Soon!
Hi all!
Wooooof! We've been beezy lately. Mom has been helping a friend with a moving sale and they have been working on it for 2 weeks. They finally got through everything and had a sale this weekend. Mom says that we'll they'll have to have the sale every weekend for 2 months to get rid of all the stuff. It was at the homestead. They let me stay overnight on Saturday and I just had to rid the yard of squirrels! YUP! I hurt my leg again. Too much running around. SO, Mom is taking me to get a pin put in it and says I can't go to the YARD any more.
WOW!
We had a great Holiday! Chewey got to go to Georgia to get the girls and WE HAD A BLAST when they got back. We all got new squeeker toys (already unstuffed and squeekerless
) We celebrated Faiths birthday and My human brother Mark took the girls ice skating. We got to sleep on the girls bed. I got a new football. It's fun kicking it around.
Hope all of you had as good a Holiday as I did!
That's what they get!
But I couldn't help it. I tried to get Dads attention and he ignored me so I used the "indoor" tree. Didn't hit the tree itself but I got the rug thing mom put under it really good. They didn't get upset at me either! Dad yelled to mom, " Honey! Our little boy's growing up! He lifted his leg!!!!!"
So, Dad put me putside and Mom cleaned up. The only thing that I've found that upsets them is, in the mornings, I like to put my very cold, wet nose on them to tell them it's time for us to have breakfast and go out. They just fuss a little then start laughing.
WOOF-WOOF!
Just found out the girls are coming for Thanksgiving. That was the good news. The other is that I hurt my leg again! I slipped on the kitchen floor. Mom immediately put the area rug from the livingroom into the kitchen. Carpet taped it down.
She finally fixed all the birthdays on this sight too. Had them all mixed up. well, Mom says it's time for my massage.
Sometimes it makes me feel better. And besides, I get even more attention from Mom.
Hi Everyone!
We've been sooooo busy lately. Mom does craft sales ( selling Honey) this time of year. She and dad have been closing up the apiary for the winter. Aunt Roberta visited. We had lots of fun. My cat Peepers went to the vet. They had to sedate him. He bit the vet tech again! They pulled a tooth, (it broke) and he's diabetic now. Not bad enough for shots though. He weighs 14 lbs. He'll be 8 years old on the 31st. He's getting old but he can still pack a whollup!
The weather's getting cooler now and we all love spending more time outside.
Mom hasn't been well so Dad gave us all baths yesterday. They let us run around the house all wet. Mom says " don't sweat the small stuff". She likes to see us have fun. Life's too short to worry about a wet carpet. I sure love her!
aunt robertas visit
bow wow! what a wonderful 2 weeks! aunt roberta is the bestest. she left this morning and got on the floor and cried and said good-bye to each of us. Peeps and chloe tried to get into her carry on bag and i laid down on her feet so she wouldn't leave. she promised us all that she'd be back.
everyone laughed a lot while she was here. One day, mom and dad took roberta to the okefenokee swamp and aunt roberta got peed on by an alligator. I'd get put in time-out for that but they all laughed about it.
she always sat on the floor with us and last night she gave us all a good brushing. Howwwwww it felt good! I miss her already.
