Hi! My name is Snickers. I am told that I am spoiled- but I just think I'm loved! Mommy and daddy rescued me. They said that they got me out of something called a shelter and I was very sick with something they call parvo. They took me to a doctor and he said that I could die. He told me to be brave and to fight as hard as I could so that I could go home with the people that rescued me. They came to see me every day while I was with the doctor and I wagged my tail until I was too tired to wag it. The day I was too tired to wag my tail or lick their hand, the nice people looked very scared and cried. I heard the doctor say I might not make it. I did not know what that meant, but he told me to keep fighting. So that night when the nice people left I tried to fight. And I fought as hard as I could. And guess what?? I got to go home with the nice people! I call them mommy and daddy now. They give me food and toys and take me to the park and to daycare so I can play with all my friends. I love living with mommy and daddy. I can't be too good though- I don't want to spoil them!! So sometimes I pull on my leash when mommy walks me- I just get so excited about all the smells. I wish she could understand that! Well, enough about me- pop in and say hello and I'll share my new bone with you!
