I came from a breeder, but it was more like a rescue.  My owners were looking for a German Shepherd puppy.  I was older than what they were looking for, but lucky me they decided to come and take a look.  I could immediately see my Mom's heart on her sleeve when she saw me.  I have fly bites on my ears, they were bloody and scabbed.  There were burrs in my fur to the point of being cut out, they had a cloth choker on me that got wet and rubbed my fur off my neck and rubbed my skin raw.  I was so skinny my ribs and hips were sticking out all over.  I had been stuck in a kennel 24/7 for my entire life.  Since I was free and purebred and in desperate need of a real home Mom and Dad took me home.  It took months for me to trust them, for the first couple of weeks I spent most of my time curled up in a ball in the corner of the house, sneaking food whenever I could from my bowl.  Back in April Mom and Dad bought my "brother" Max.  I'm glad I have my new home.

I haven't been here for too long.  I've doubled in size since Mom and Dad brought me home though!  I'm generally a good pup, but I like to get into things, dig holes, and chew on shoes.  I'm in training now so it's getting better.
