We adopted Charlie from a local family.  When we saw a picture of Charlie he was a little dog, but when we met him he was twice the size and we fell in love with him.  Sophie was happy to have a playmate.  Charlie was a true Beagle and let his nose get him into trouble.  Many times we came home to trash spread all over the floor, but because we had two dogs it was hard to prove who did it, so I set up the video camera.  Couple time we lost Charlie because the kids left the gate open and he just wondered off.  One time he was gone for a whole week and we found him on the Human Society website.  He was thin (er) and very happy to see us.  Everyone that met him fell in love with him, because he had this sad face, so cute.  Charlie passed away this year.  He is gone but never forgotten.  We miss him.
