My name is Zona. I am a very happy malamute. I live with my mom Judy, older sister Sarah, and brother Dennis (I also have another sister Val who dosn't live at home..I miss her alot) . I love to cuddle up with the nearest avilable person. I love to go for walks and rides in the car. I may be 9 years old (which is really old for a larger dog) but i still only feel about 2. My home life before i was adopted by my family wasn't so great. My previous owner had my tied to a tree with a very short leash. So the animal shelter took me in where i was roomed alone. One day i was outside in the gated yard playin by myself in the snow. This family came too look for a pet Sarah and Val were the first ones to spot me. They played with me in the yard a little bit with Their little brother who was 4 at the time. i was instantly in love with them...and from what i heard they were in love with me aswell. The woman at the shelter told them that dogs my size (125lbs) have a very hard time being adopted because most people are nervous around us. I was a very loving but very active boy, but even with the possiablity that I could hurt someone accidently they took me in anyway. I have never been so happy...or have had it so well. My family loves me very much and I love them just as much. IM LIVING THE DREAM! lol
