Dixie is a Blue Mearl with very unique markings. She has a white chest and all four feet are white. All the rest of her is black and grey. After filling out an online adoption application we found dixie thru the ARPH, Ga chapter. She was taken to a shelter at 16 monthes old because she was too playful. Can you imagine! The ist day she came to live with us and our other Aussie ''Sancho'' she acted like she had always lived here. She never had an accident in the house and was very easy to train. She quickly got her CGC award and is now a certified therapy dog. We visit assisted living facilities. Everyone loves her. Up until a few weeks ago we were members of A therapy dog group called Happy Tails. We have since resigned because of Dixies energy level and she suddenly decided she didn't like being a team player and got snappy with another dog. It has worked out much better now that we go out on our own. Both she and I are less stressed.Sometimes you just have to make changes to fit yourself and your dog.She is a big ''Love Muffin'' and whoever gave her up did not deserve a loving dog like dixie. Their loss is our gain. She is spoiled rotten just the way we like it. She has a special place in our hearts. We have never had 2 dogs until now. Meant to be! Also Dixie has a big swishy tail that fans us when we need it. What a big wiggle butt!
