Lady was the first dog we owned as a family. We had our first house with a fence so she had all the room in the world to run and get into trouble. As a puppy she loved to chew tassels off shoes ,put holes in socks, pull up newly planted shrubs and just about and chipmonk was in danger. She went almost everywhere we went and never complained. She just wanted to be with us. She loved to go on hikes and get in the water. She always slept with us until she got to old to jump on the bed so she would lay next to us. She had a way of putting her arms around you after you were gone a while just like a hug. Lady was our little white angel and I still think of her everyday. Sometimes I call Dixie "Lady'' by mistake. We lost her to kidney failure in 2004. She had several benign cysts removed over the yrs and the last one was cancerous and the vet could not get it all. I am glad that it was not the cancer that took her. The vet came to our house and it was one of the hardest things we ever had to do but we could not let her suffer. She died in our arms and her picture and ashes are on the mantel where I can see her everyday. Lady was so special there are not words to express all the love she gave us and all the fun things we did together. We will never forget our Lady.

Hi Sancho and Dixie, THEY LEFT YOU ALL BY YOURSELVES WITH POPPERS OUTSIDE! That's just not right! There must be some kinda law against that. We'll check into that. I (Sable) hid behind the couch and I looked like those dogs ZQ sent. It's not bad during the daytime but they will start again tonight. Mommy says it will probably last at least another week. It always does. I just never get used to it and then on top of that it's suppose to storm here -- you know what that means! Thunder ... more hiding for me I guess! Oh well maybe I'll come out from behind the couch sometime next week. See ya then!

Hi Sancho and Dixie. How did you do with the fireworks? We weren't afraid but we didn't like them very much - there was a party across the street and they were lighting some off and on and all day, but the real noise came from the clubhouse in our neighborhood where they had a show that lasted for over an hour. We were okay as long as we stayed together. Usually we follow Mom around the house one after the other, like a parade. Yesterday and last night we followed her side by side - she said we looked like a team of horses ready to pull a cart, whatever that means. It sure was hard to relax, and impossible to sleep.

I despair, it took she who must be obeyed months to work out how to change the backround (personalise it), yesterday Wooo Hooo she managed....this morning she went to change it (no longer Independance Day...and one hour later we ended up with fire hydrants!!!!!!! ooo the shame Tessa UK with the most boring wallpaper in the entire world!imikimi - Customize Your World

Happy Indepawdence Day. We is sneeky on da puter cuz mommy is buzy fur a few minets. Oh no I (Sable) donut fink Iz weady fur today! Dem poppers scarez me weelly bad turribl...I donut eben likez fur to go to da out to go potty. Mommy or Daddy habs to draggded me to da out. So I fink I will jus be staying behind de couch or under de bed until all dem poppers stop. But here dem poppers jus keep a goin anna goin a week before and about a week afer. Dey last FUREVER! OOOOHHHHH MMMEEEEE what am I going to do? Mebbe I iz gonna move to where da poppers donut be allowed.

How are you?? Tonight is the night of the big bangs and booms. It doesn't bother us three girls too much, but Manny really don't like them at all. They scare him!! Mom says we are going to stay in the bedroom with the TV up real loud.
