Help adjusting
My two daughters and I have lived with my best friend and her daughter for the past three years now and we are moving next month from her house in the country to an apartment in town. On top of going to a smaller place and much smaller outside area my dogs will also have to cope with leaving their three playmates Diesel, DeDe and Diego. I know there will be an adjustment period and a lot of whining but if anyone has any tips to help them settle in more comfortably I’d love to hear them.
I think this site rocks and I’m trying to get my friend Ruth to join too, she’s Diesel, DeDe and Diegos mommy.

Do your furchildren listen/wathc TV? You could video tape their friends and let that play for them when they are missing them. Just an idea.

Aw, shucks. It probably will be an adjustment and I don't know how to adjust them! Are Jack and Holly buddies? If so, at least they'll have each other. Are you able to take them for lots of walks and let them explore and sniff their new neighborhood? Is there a fenced in dog park nearby? Cinnamon has gone through a lot of change and has been extremely good with it, maybe they will be too!!

Maybe you could bring something from the other pups such as a toy they used to all enjoy. Would it be possible if you guys could set up play dates with each other.
