Nail trimming
Hi Kete here. Today Daddy had to cut my nails. I hate that so much I could easily bite but I try not to. My nails are so thick that they curl into my pads if they aren't cut. Mommy caught me chewing on my nails and daddy took me outside with mommy's help he cut them so I can walk better. Daddy wants to buy a peticure they advertise on tv and hopefully I can have my nails done more often so it don't hurt.
Blog Barks
Maya says, "I hate getting my nails cut too. But mom has been doing it every week since she got me so I have gotten very used to it. I don't fight with her like I used to - Especially since she gives me a treat after I'm done."
Maya's mom says, "It is difficult at first but if you make a habit of it, your dog will get used to it. Ask your vet for some tips. That's what I did with my other dog, Sephi, so trimming nails is now simply an inconvenience rather than torture."
