A Busy Month

Congrats to Auntie Aimee & Uncle Robert! Their wedding was on Saturday the 15th & the family is still recovering from all the hub bub.
Saturday the 1st was their wedding shower. We hosted their shower at work & hired a karaoke DJ. It was so much fun to watch everyone sing & dance. It's always great to see all of my family.
The following weekend was Girl's Day. Momma treated Auntie Aimee to a massage, pedicure & dinner at her favorite tapas restaurant. I was left behind at home & hung out with Daddy that day. However, the next day we did go for a short hike at the Carquinez shoreline.

Then there was the rehearsal dinner hosted by Aunt Joy in a beautiful park with lots of ducks & geese that weren't too happy about me. Daddy, Momma & me rode the motorcycle to cut through the Friday rush hour traffic.

Momma tied a balloon on me to keep track of me while she helped with the wedding rehearsal.

And then of course there was the wedding. Momma was the Lady of Honor & I was the flower pup! I got to wear my beautiful pink ballerina dress, tiara & corsage. This is the dress I wore:

I was sad that they left behind at Grandma & Grandpa's house while they had fun at the reception! I guess it did give me a chance to get some good shut eye after playing with all of the kids.
It has been a fun & exhausting month, but nothing beats seeing all of my family. More pictures will be posted soon!

A Hidden Gem

Momma heard about an off-lease beach in Albany from other dog lovers at Point Isabel. Sunday is starting to become "Pica day!" Last Sunday, it was Point Isabel; this Sunday we went to Telegraph in Berkeley & then the beach off Buchanan in Albany.
It was a perfect day. We took the motorcycle to Berkeley to window shop & look for a ring for Daddy from one of the street vendors. He keeps losing his wedding ring so Momma said that he can only get silver rings as replacements. I kept my motorcycle outfit on while we went walked up & down Telegraph Avenue. The college girls thought I looked cute in my denim jacket & jeans.
Then we went to the beach behind the Golden Gate racetrack. It was a good-sized, sandy beach with lots of dogs. Unfortunately, when we got there, one misbehaving labrador chased me around until I ran to Momma's arms for safety. That didn't help with my parents trying to socialize me with dogs. When we reached the beach, there were a lot of interesting smells & a few small dogs that I didn't mind sniffing. From the beach, we went on a hike around the shoreline until I was tired & wanted to be carried.
I was exausted from all of this activity & I insisted on being carried when we rode home. We took the scenic route through Berkeley, Orinda, & finally home.
My New DogSpace!
Thank you to Uncle Jeff for letting Momma know about this cool site. I've been wanting my own web site where I can write about my many adventures & post all of my pictures & videos.
Well, it's time for my nap. Please check back weekly to find out what we're up too!
Love,
Pica
