hello our friends!! well, mum is letting us bark today. she has quite a bit of time off work this week because its been very quiet for her over jan. which she is not happy about because she is trying to save money. mum works funny shifts, which makes it hard for us to bark. she works a little in the morning, and a little in the evening. she is not home much. and sometimes for her shifts she has to wait around as there are all different times she starts. we hope you have all been well. what have you all been up to? mum has been walking us, and playing with us a lot. mum also says that i, shelly, have been getting better with strangers coming to visit the house. we are still living with mums parents, and they still have people over a LOT. so ive had to get used to that. and i dont even bark at the strangers as much, except when other strangers walk with their dogs past the lane way past our house. i have been getting better with my walks too. mum says i just plod along now and not even cars coming up behind me is worryig me now. but mum has also been laughing at me because when its hot and we are walking i stop under all the trees in the shade. well i DO have black fur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have still been wearing my halti, other wise i would be pulling mum! BOL.. i would love to see mums face as she tried to keep up with me. leon has been sleeping a LOT, and he dosent have as much energy as he used to. AND we both have fleas... UHHHHGGGGGHH!! thats the only bad thing about summer. its so hard to keep the fleas at bay.. speaking of summer, its been really hot here, but we have also had some rain off and on and it rained at the start of summer. the humidity has been terrible & just last night we had TWO thunderstorms... which mum and i are not happy about! we wanted to send you all a friendship rose today for love, because we love you, all our friends. we wanted to say thanks for barking at us while we have been busy and thanks for sending us the christmas cards too. we LOVED them all. and we LOVE all of you. we hope to be back to barking normally soon. not much else has been happening. we hope all your christmases and new years have been good. we dont know what happened to last year, it was over too soon!! we hope this year will be good for all of you!!

Hi Pack,
I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day! We gave all the girls in our life our licks and kisses, roses, presents, and took them out to eat. We send a thousand kisses to all of our MDS family!
We were all thinking of what to get Leader. We tried every silly thing in the book until we came up with the most wonderful idea. We all volunteered Panchis for the job. It was for a worthy cause. Panchis will tell ya but you got to go to our new blog to read about it. Panchis is very sensitive to pain but she was finally able to tough it up and do it for this little guy.

It was also her birthday present from us. That's bad dogs for ya, killing two squeaky toys with one bone!
Word of advice, don't call her a white Chi, she thinks she's a black mutt like us. She went in and came back a black dog!

Hi Pack,
Rocky should start his own stand up comedy. The other day, he broke one of mama's bottle of oil or something with his butt! He broke it before it went up in a cabinet. Nothin' happened to him but was that weenie runnin' afterwards. His story is, doesn't know why he did it. Someone named "The Joker" makes him do all of these crazy things as his story goes. Then, he went through mom's purse and took out this heart shaped stress ball and was caught red handed. Leader told him to put his paws up as dropped it. Also, he ripped one of mama's shoes. Well, ok the shoes was mama's fault and she admitted to that. All mama was supposed to say was one word to make him back away completely but she ignored it. Rocky can't be trusted with shoes, except Leaders. To make story short, he ripped them from the side. Mama thought it was the store's fault because this was a pretty good tear that you'd never think a dog did it. As mama was about to return the shoes, she found the other shoe was ripped too! The funny part was mama never got to even wear them, except when she tried them on at the store. Mama got new shoes now but Rocky is waiting with paws and whiskers. It seems everything is towards mama because Rocky has never done anything to Leader's stuff. That weenie knows his stuff he just picks and chooses his battles. Usually when people meet Rocky they say how great and calm he is, if they only knew the his other half.
Rocky's birthday is next month, he will be 4 years old. Sometimes we wonder where he keeps his time machine because he doesn't seem to get past the puppy stage.
