I am a very lovable, if not a little bit rowdy, guy. My new family could plainly see that I had been abused prior to coming to my forever home. I hated feet, especially those clad in black footwear, and tried to eat them (and the leg they were attached to) when ever they walked near me. I'ms pretty well over that now (except for if I'm semi-sleeping and see one of my old arch-enemies go by or is someone walks too quickly past me). I also wasn't so fond of hands, but now see that hands are friendly things that pet me and feed me. I like not getting kicked and hit. Now I just wish my sister, Kat, would be nice to me all the time and not pick on me for no apparent reason!!

Thanks for your forum post. When you have time, I would really appreciate it if you would explain how you dealt with Pancho's "issues". One of my goals is to write a guide that would be given (free) to people adopting rescue dogs. So I am gathering specific hints from as many people as possible as to what issues their dog had (you have described yours very well) and also how the various issues can be dealt with. Thanks again.
