Getting to know US
Hey, new members, if you’re new take your time to copy the questionnaire about getting to know you…...Or..just copy the questions (that’s easier) So here it goes about US…..
Do you bark when someone knocks on your door?
Zero- only when it's unexpected, or the mail/UPS/FedEx man
EmJay- only when I don't know who it is (i.e. the windows are closed and I didn't see their shadow)
Do you sleep on your owner’s bed at nighttime?
Z- uh, yes- under the covers is the best!!!
MJ- yeppers, I learned to crawl under the covers w/ mom and dad from Bliss and Zero- it's toasty. I also love pillows and insist on one at nite time.
Are you mischievious?
Z- I am pretty tricky when it comes to siking EmJay out for her chewy.
MJ- no, I'm pretty mellow and know my place in the pack order.
Would Ceasar Milan be proud of your owner or would have a few things to say?
Z- well, I would have a few words to say to Mr. Milian, that's for sure! mom and dad love me as is, so they wouldn't call him anyway.
MJ- nah, he'd probably highfive my odedience instructors!!!
Do you have a best friend to play with?
Z- yep, my sister, EmJay
MJ- Zero and I also have two really good dog pals: Sprocket and Yoshimi
Do you get excited and jump around when your parent(s) arrive home or are you calm and cool?
Z- excited as hell! I jump up. I stretch, because I like my armpits to be rubbed... and wag my tail as fast as I can!
MJ- oh, man do I get excited!!! I have the fastest wiggle-butt in the Northwest! I wiggle and jump while I am wiggling! (they taught me not to jump on humans, so I jump in mid-air and do neato body twists!) then I walk them to the back door to go play chase.
Does your Mom (or Dad) leave the TV or Radio on while you’re home alone?
Z- nope.
MJ- no.
Do you like other dogs besides your pals?
Z- I bark at most dogs that I see, unless they come over to my house to play, or I know them. but if I am in a strange place I get nervous and usually bark. mom and dad don't like it, but I'm just saying "hi."
MJ- I have more of a whimper. I love other dogs SO MUCH! all I want to do is play, play, play.
Do you like Cats?
Z- I love my two cat-friends, Jinx and Wednesday, but hate the neighbors cat that torments me daily by prancing himself in front of my yard. grr.
MJ- Jinx is my favorite! we snuggle and sleep on the couch together. Wednesday is also my favorite because he likes to play chase with me! I even watch them eat my food and it's okay. as for the neighbors cat that Zero mentioned...
What is your unique habit/characteristic?
Z- I can SMILE :) and it makes everyone smile that gets to see it.
MJ- I can carry a chewy around for 4 days. no kidding, I don't even eat it.
What’s your favorite thing to do with Mom and Dad?
Z- sleep and cuddle with them.
MJ- walks. definitely walks.
What proves that your the Alpha in the House? (How you have Mom/Dad wrapped around your paw)
Z- uh, because I pretty much get whatever I want. and because I usually hear them say that their dogs have a better life than them. whatever that means.
MJ- two words: king size bed was purchased after mom brought me home. (that was more than two words, but you get it!)
What are you like physically?
Z- I'm pretty much awesome. the picture of IG goodness. lets see, after my surgery, I finally put on the last 3 pounds that I needed, though you can still count my ribs. I am svelt. I am fast and my muscles are well-defined.
MJ- I'm kind of a big deal in the house. mom and dad have some pretty small tarts compared to my 60 pounds of fun! I reach my mom's knees, so I'm not very tall, but my chest is ginormous and that's where I carry most of my weight. well, besides in my big head and inflated ego...
What are like personality wise?
Z- I'm pretty cute. I'm a fighter. I love to cuddle. I LOVE TO RUN. I really hate mornings and I know when Sundays are because I stay in bed ALL DAY.
MJ- people say I am such a happy dog and I have to agree! everyday is like a new start and I am full of wiggles first thing! I hate mornings. I know lots of tricks. I give hugs. I sleep with my head on pillows because it's comfortable.
