Hugs Tucker Sasha and Sugar Good Morning..mom just read your post..well..she doesn't read the bags..and adjusts the food for us...according to what our Vet tells her to do....we eat twice a day..so mom divides the food into two meals...we also get fat free vanilla yogurt on our food also...and don't get canned food or table scraps at all. Even lil sugar eats twice a day..since she's part of the pack, she eats when they eat. And in the middle of the day...we get some dog biscuits... But you have to have the right amount for you body type and all...like the Vet said that Sasha can get more food than Tucker..and she does..that's because she is always running and burns it off...and Sugar does too...Tucker lost the five pounds he was supposed to already lol...since he runs with the girls. It really depends on your own body and the type of activity you do...and really what the vet tells you to do. Now we get a lot of outside time..winter is over...so we burn off what we eat...but soon when the warm weather comes in...we eat less...since we are not running around a lot outside. Geesh if mom was to give us what the bag says..we would weigh five hundred pounds lol!!!

Hi Hef and Portia... Thank you for saying such nice things about my post in that Rottweiler forum. Originally, doggies like me were used to help people cross mountains and to take care of them when they had to set up camp along the way and stuff like that. We also used to pull stuff 'cause we are so strong. Did you know because we (Rottweilers) like to work so much, they still make carts that can be used to teach and train us? Mom says if we still lived in AZ, she might get me one. I just LOVE to learn new things. We lived in a very private place and we didn't have to worry about people and their dumb opinions. We love where we live now, but people might think I am being 'abused' if they see me hooked up to a cart. We try to give the very best impression at all times. When you look like me, you just have to. That is very sad, don't you think?

Didn't you say that your mom and dad got you two a swimming pool? Are you using it?

Yes, Monty is a very tall boy. He's allowed in the kitchen, so he must be very good when it comes to not stealing things! I don't steal things that aren't mine. In fact, when my mom and dad have dinner, I go into another room all on my own. Someone taught me that once. If your mom has trouble with your taking food that isn't yours, a good trick to learn is the 'leave it' trick. That trick is hard because when you are learning, the thing you need to leave is right in front of your face! That's a very good one, though, 'cause you learn to listen to your mom and dad and you learn to focus.

Your grandparents are back, huh? Did they have a nice time? I bet they did. Maybe they'll be so glad to see you they'll give you extra treats and priveleges for a while.

Hi there how you doing?, I am so much better, got taken out yesterday for five minutes - on a lead oh the shame!!! - and while my mum was busy talking to a worker - my mum can talk!! - I shot down a rabbit hole, well she grabbed my lead then yanked me out be the tail and this was in front of a Rhodesian Ridgeback I will have to go everywhere in disguise now, I have vets on Thursday but my mum is going to ask how they think I will rest for another 13wks when I have'nt managed for 2????, oh and as for the posting she has put on your page I strongly recommend that you ignore it, it is not funny!! poor wee me  lol
