We actually are not rescues.
But our mom has done a lot of rescue work, and our friend Ella is still up for adoption. Some of you know about Ella because she was on our page a while back. She will be going on our page again. But we're also putting her here.
Ella's family decided they did not have time for her anymore. She is a medium size dog with a lot of love to give. She is very sweet and loving and will make a great addition to any family.

Cinnamon was an owner surrender who was neglected & left alone all the time outside.
I got her when she was 2 1/2 and she is almost 10 now. She is the best dog ever! She's very
cuddly and loving and I just couldn't love her any more than I do now!!

After having our Sadie (beagle) and Dusty (lab/mix) for 16 years, we thought we'd never get another dog. Luckily, we changed our minds and found Astrid at the Nogales, AZ Humane Society shelter, a no kill shelter. Her home date was Dec. 28, 2006. Four months later, we moved from Arizona to North Carolina where she (and us) have thrived.

This horse, Penny was a rescue.. She was bought from a meat auction. An x-racehorse, most racehorses get sold for meat when they cannot perform anymore
