Meet Bella the Boston...Dog model/actor, AKC Canine Good Citizen and Shelter pet advocate

In 2006 A stray Boston Terrier puppy was found on the streets and brought to the NYC Animal Care and Control (The city's kill shelter). She was scared, emaciated, showed signs of abuse and clearly was neglected. A kind hearted Veterinary Technician who worked there fell in love with her sweet disposition and had been looking for a Boston to adopt for awhile. It seemed as if it were meant to be...
Bella was nursed back to health and thankfully has no existing health problems. Her mommy spent many hours training and helping her to become the great dog she is today. She has a family that loves her dearly and two human siblings to play with. Bella has many friends that she loves to visit at various dog runs in the boros and loves attending any dog events, contests or celebrations, she also has her own blog/advice column for a pet magazine. As you can imagine she likes being in the spotlight, loves posing for pictures and models whenever we have the chance. So far she has starred in magazines, a short film, and soon to be on TV :) She is a really great dog and knows all of her commands and a few tricks, she can also be trusted to walk off leash as she listens to your every word. Bella will do anything for attention and praise...Its that which makes Bella so wonderful because her drive to please will stop at nothing. Bella's mission is to show everyone that even shelter dogs (and other shelter pets) can be winners too!

BELLAS NEWS

*Bella starred in her first short film called if you could hear that, which will be entered in the sundance and other film festivals.

*Bella becomes Pet E! Magazines Spokesdog in 2008

*Look out for Bella on the WE cable channel where shell be getting married on one of their series, check back soon for dates and times.

*Bella came in 3rd. place at the NYC Barking Beauty Pageant

*Lots of fun gigs and projects in the making...
