CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!!

Mommy says if her team couldn't be Super Bowl champs then she's happy for the people of New Orleans. They deserve it, in more ways than one. Although, you should have seen her jumping out of her chair and yelling at the TV. She was acting just like Daddy does when his teams play on the TV. I always think they are playing or dancing or something, so I jump up and join in.

Well, it's suppose to be a nice day today. Sunny and in the 50's. Mommy says she'll let me lay out in the sun for a while this afternoon. The rain's coming back tomorrow.

Happy Monday my wonderful friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend. We celebrated my human brother, Spencer, 18th birthday. Daddy made BBQ spareribs. Oh, they smelled sooo good while they were cooking. Mommy said I couldn't have the BBQ part so Daddy made me some just plain. Mommy added some rice and carrots, too. It was very yummy. I even got a tiny taste of birthday cake. I wish we could celebrate a birthday every day!!

Hi my wonderful friends. Geez, where does the time go. It's Friday already. I haven't been able to play on MDS this week cause Mommy's been working so hard. Yesterday Mommy had to leave her home office and drive an hour to the big office. And Daddy also had to go into his big office. I was all by myself all day. Nine hours! I was a good boy though. Daddy didn't think I would be but Mommy told him I would be OK. I slept most of the day, but then I got all my toys out of my toy basket and spread them all over the living room. BOL
I was so happy to see Mommy that I wouldn't leave her side the whole evening. This morning Mommy said that she was going to bring some of her work downstairs so that she could spend some time with me. I think I made her feel guilty. But I'm very happy laying at her feet while she works on her laptop.
This is my baby picture. I was six months old. Mommy doesn't have too many baby pictures cause she was trying to not get too attached in case I couldn't stay with them. (Like if someone claimed me)

For those of you that have never seen my beeping collar. Yes, it is a shock collar but I have NEVER been shocked cause that is not turned on. It only beeps and Mommy taught me to stop when I hear the beep. This keeps me in the yard since we don't have a fence. I have never ran through the beep cause I'm really good boy. Even though there have been times when I really wanted to. BOL

Hello pals, Yeah! It's Friday! I hope everyone has had a good week. Monday I told you about Mommy's visit with great aunt Margaret. I thought I would share the pictures that she took of her dogs.



This is Freckles. He is 14 years old and totally blind. He gets around pretty good until Daddy brought in another chair to the living room. Poor Freckles couldn't remember it was there and kept bumping into it.



This is Petey. He is about 2 1/2 years old. Aunt Margaret got him for Christmas when he was six months old. He is a rescue that had been abused. Poor Petey is terrified of everything. He is so scared that even Mommy couldn't make friends with him. Mommy has never met a dog she couldn't make friends with. Even the grumpy Rottweiler down the street likes Mommy. Anyway, Petey is scared and Aunt Margaret babies him so he will never get brave.
Aunt Margaret had told Mommy that she could bring me with her to visit, but Mommy didn't think she should since she had never been there before. After meeting Freckles and Petey, she thinks maybe that was a wise decision. I would have been a good dog, but my presence may have stressed out poor Freckles and Petey.

Hi friends. Mommy said the temp here is 33 degrees but feels like 25. She said that was too cold for her to go take me for a walk so she let me outside to play with Dixie and watched us from the window. I thought the sunshine felt good and running around kept me warm. Now I'm ready for my snack and a nap.
Mommy and Daddy went to visit with Daddy's Great Aunt Margaret over the weekend. She's 93 years old. Mommy forgot to say if that was dog years or human years. Either way, she's really old. Mommy is working on Daddy's family tree (no it's not in the back yard and you can't pee on it) and Aunt Margaret had lots of pictures and stories. Mommy said she hopes her mind is as sharp as Aunt Margaret's when she gets to be that age.
Anyway. Mommy said Aunt Margaret had two dogs and she took pictures of them to show me. One's old like Aunt Margaret and the other is young. I'll show you pictures tomorrow.
Right now I've got to go get my snack.
