Dog Blog: R.I.P. Sparkie

My big momma passed away this friday.She was almost 15 years old and the proud momma of Taylor.She went to the truck with Dad on friday morning to say goodbye before he went to work.When Mom came home on friday afternoon,Taylor meet her at the van,but no Momma.Mom figured she had gone to the pond for a swim and went ahead and feed Taylor.When Dad got home that night he was helping my bro,Christopher,work on his truck.He asked if anyone had seen Momma. Noone could remember see her all afternoon.Mom was getting ready for my girls 2nd birthday party and had been back outside since she got home. Dad ask Taylor to find Momma and she started around the house and Christopher followed her. The found Momma under the back stairs. She had layed down in one of her favorite holes and gone to sleep. Dad said she passed away peacefully. We sure do miss her bark and the way she used to snort over her food and water. But now she can play her favorite game of fetch for hours. Rest easy with the angels,BIG MOMMA.  Love,Monte and Taylor
