Back to being a JRT
I came off my anti-biotics for my sore eye yesterday and I have spent the day, running, running, running, digging, digging, digging and barking, barking, barking, I haven't stopped all day. It's great. I think those tablets slowed me down but not anymore I'm back to being the true Jack Russell I am.
I am trying to see if can catch some lizards but no luck yet, so I better get back out there and see what else I can find.

Ithaka
Sore Eye
Hi, Ithaka here and I got a sore eye. I was busy exploring as I do under the builder who was putting up the wall and stuff was flying about and something got into my eye and it has been so sore but I kept on sniffing round to see what these builders were doing and I noticed one of them with a burning flame on some pipes, it looked pretty and exciting, lucky grandad saw me as I advanced on this flame and took me inside, no more exploring while the builders are around for me.
I had to go to the vets for my eye coz I couldn't stop rubbing it and it was all red and swollen. The vets are nice to me, I met this nice doggie there and I got so excited I peed all over the place, grandad was embarrassed. Libby my vet poked and prodded my eye and then put this liquid in it to clean out whatever was there and then they put some green dye in my eye to make sure it wasn't scratched but it turned my nose green, now i'm the green goblin...Anyway, whatever was there is now out but I have to go back for a weekly check up on my eye.
Sappho my big sister came with me for her injections and I was being friendly with another doggie and then they went to sniff snaffy, I warned the doggie not to and snaffy growled and the doggie went and hid under his mummy and he is much bigger then both me and snaffy but she scared him, she is funny like that so I played with Sappho instead to calm her down while she was at the vets as she gets scared since her accident.
Ithaka
Hello all, I'm Ithaka, our names are probably a little strange, they all have to do with Greek Mythology. My mum saw me in a shop and thought it was a little strange that I was all white for a Jack Russell when the rest of the litter where the normal white and brown, anyway she took me home because I was just so loveable. I was so happy when I got to met my new brother and sister. Mummy took to me to puppy pre-school and it was during this time that she started to think that maybe I couldn't hear. I was taken to the vets and tests were done and it came back that I am deaf and was born deaf but otherwise a completely healthy dog. Mummy was a little upset at the thought that I would never hear anyone speak to me but I showed her that I was just as happy.
Mum found a training place that helped her to train me the hand signals so I would behave somewhat. I know the following hand signals, sit, down, stay, come (when I'm looking), heel, eat, walk, bedtime.
I have no fear whatsoever, if I think I should investigate I will unfortunately for me that is probably why I have now been attacked twice by snakes, I really don't like snakes. The first attack was quick and mum was there and rushed me to the vets so I was treated quickly and recovered. The second was very vicious and my grandad had to help get the snake off me, they really didn't think I was going to survive but I showed everyone how tough I am after three shots of anti-venom, two shots of adreliene and being on a ventilator I was allowed to go home after a week of being poked, prodded, needles going in, tubes going in. Now we have a snake survival pack at home just in case and all paddocks are off limits during summertime 
All I ever want to do is have fun and most of the time I succeed. Everyone thinks I am a very funny dog which I tend to agree with. I love meeting new people all the time and I love meeting new dogs. I love living on the farm, it's much more fun then the suburbs as I was never allowed off the lead and was never allowed to go near the front door in case I snuck out but at the farm i get to run around everywhere.

Sappho
Hi I'm Sappho and I know I'm a stunning looking dog, I love having my picture taken and I think I look quite pretty. I live with Cerberus, Ithaka and my best pal Muttley. I have a secret crush on Muttley but I pretend I don't. My mum got me through friends of hers who owned my mummy and daddy. I was the only girl of the litter and I was the only white one, all my brothers were black just like daddy and I was just like mummy. I am quite intelligent when I want to be but if I can't be bothered then I won't be doing whatever the humans want me to do.
I have a very good life, I live on a farm and I get to ferret about in the long grass. I like to hunt mice with Cerberus, we are quite the good team, he finds them and I catch them.
I got run over by a car beginning of last year, my mum was very scared for me. My pelvis had to be reconstructed and I lost my beautiful tail, I was in lots of pain and had to have a lot of surgery, I was in recovery for a good few months but mum never left my side and took real good care of me until I could walk again. I'm now fully recovered, which mum is very happy about and I'm no longer allowed near any cars without full supervision. Everything has been well fenced so I can't sneak out anymore.
My favourite things are playing chaseys especially when Muttley and I chase Ithaka. I love my big pillow, I sink into it and you can only see my head.
Apparently I snore a little too loudly for some people but I think they exaggerate.

Our stories
Hi. This is Cerberus and this my story so far... I am the eldest in my family. I am very loyal to my mummy. I remember the first day mum came and got me, all my brothers and sisters had already gone to homes but because I was the smallest, I was the last to get a home. When mum came to get me, I was hanging off the back leg of a big German Shepherd, I thought this was very impressive since I only weighed in at 500grams. I went to live with my mum and her friend, who I love nearly as much as my mum. I pretty much get to go everywhere my mum goes. I love the car and I get very excited when we get to our destinations except the vets. I also love going on planes, I pretty much love traveling, it's a shame my mum is traveling at the moment, I would love to have gone with her but she will be home soon. I have two sisters, Sappho and Ithaka. They tend to annoy me but deep down I do love them.
I am very well trained and before mum does the vaccuming of the house, she tells me to put my toys away and I do, I put all my toys in the basket so mum can vaccum :) I'm also excellent at catching mice...
I love when people come to visit but I prefer them not to leave!
