Hey Everyone! Skittles here, and boy and I happy to get a word in! First of all, I am the cutest Maltese puppy EVER and I know it : )  I had a bit of a rough start in this world though. I am the runt of my litter, so I'm pretty small...but the vet told my mommy breeder that I had a slight heart murmur, but that it would go away after a few months. Then my breeder sold me to the most awful evil mommy ever. Evil mommy was never home, and I had to stay locked in my cage all the time, even when she came home from work : (  Then, evil mommy took me to the vet because I was "being lethargic" and the vet said that my murmur was fatal! Evil mommy took me back to my breeder's house because she didn't love me : (

After a few weeks though, I found a new mommy and I have had the best life ever since then : )  I went to the vet again and he said my heart is all better! My new parents are the George's, and they let me have the whole house to run in. Except at night time I have to stay in my kennel, but that is so I don't get lost in the dark I think. Sometimes I get to go outside and run in the backyard and that is ultimate fun!

I don't know many tricks yet because I'm pretty stubborn and excited all the time. I just learned how to jump off the couch though, and I'm working on "roll over". I know that when I work really hard on tricks I get a treat : )

Well, my name is Lucy and I am a full-blooded Black Lab. I became a member of the George's when I was just 6 weeks old and only 3 lbs, can you believe that?! Daddy got me when he was in college and we lived in a tiny apartment, but thats ok since I was still a baby.

I grew fast though! I thought I would never grow into my huge paws, but I finally have. Now I am 56lbs and about 4 ft tall when I stand all the way up. I think I'm smaller than most labs, according to those I've seen in the neighborhood, but thats ok.

Daddy married mommy last year, but I've known her all my dog life anyways : )  We've moved around to a few houses, but now we finally settled down, and I have a HUGE backyard to play in! What a great present for me! Now I can run free all day. I'm not allowed to dig holes though, or else I get in trouble.

I know a few tricks: sit, stand tall, lay down, roll over, fetch (of course), and jump.  I am an excellent swimmer and frisbee player, and I LOVE to run. Daddy won't take me hunting though, I not good at it on account of I can't sit still for 2 minutes straight : )
