Rusty's First Birthday
Well, the shorgi has turned one! You wouldn't know it by the way he acts ;) It was a good day for the long dog though. He got presents, (a bag of five toys), and he and Small shared a muffin together! They loved it. We told them it was cake... shhh, don't tell them it was healthy for them ;)
I shall upload some movies of it when I get a chance.

What's This Stuff? by Rusty
My big sis said to me today, "Lets go put up some decorations, Rusty!" I didn't know what decorations were, but she said it so nicely I wagged and came.
She got down on the floor, near this cupboard thingie. It was great. People on floor means play! Jumpy jumpy, licky. She gave me hugs and pats and let me sniff inside the cupboard. Then she pulled out all these odd things. One looked like a toy! A big red person thingie. Had a hat and a suit and lots of hair! So when she wasn't looking I picked it up and tried to sneak away. She caught me though. She took it off me, laughed, and said she'd buy me my own Christmas toy. What's Christmas? I know the toy part though!
Then we got to go into this room that hardly ever opens. It's like a mystery or something. New smells and all dusty. Rabbit was in there! I pounced through the junk to get to him. I love my big rabbit.
We played in there for a while, moving big things and making bags rattle. It was fun. She only brought one thing out though. Dunno what it was. It's on the chair now.
But now there are all these weird things around the house! All shiny and hangy and stuff. They look like toys. They are so high up though...

Hello two and four legged people!
My name is Rusty, and my big human sister told me I should post on here. I'm very clever. I can type.
Well, I'm big now, or so they say. I'm just over 5 months old, about 10+kgs and still growing! No one knows how big I will get. I hope I get real big! I like being up high.
A few weeks ago there was all this talk about going to the vet coz I was 5 months old. Huh? I don't know what it was about, but I went anyway, with my big doggy brother. I had to stand on this machine for some reasons. What's a scale? I dunno. Anyway, they said I was big again after that too! Then the people looked at my brother and me and gave my brother a ouchie! Poor Sandy... Then a lady picked me up, I liked her lots, I got pats from my family and was taken out back.
So I sat in this cage for a while, and then, the next thing I remember is being sleepy in the cage again. I heard my parents outside in the waiting room talking, and I called to them, barking three times! Everyone was happy with me. They said, "Rusty was the only dog to walk out under his own steam." I didn't see any steam! Anyway...
My big sister says I have 'no nads' now. Whatever nads are. I don't care. People are odd.
