I was sold at a Missouri puppymill dog auction.  Rescue went in and purchased 11 Shelties and I was one of them.  I was 4 years old and had never had my feet on the ground.  I lived 24 hours 7 days in a

cage being bred over and over for my puppies only to have them taken from me early to sell to pet stores.  When I stopped producing the puppymillers sent me to the auction block.  I was lucky that rescuers came to save me.   I was very afraid of humans because they burned me and treated me badly not caring if I lived or died.  I now know what love is and am safe in my forever home.   My mom is a volunteer for Sheltie rescue and she knew I needed lots of love and patience to become the little Sheltie I am today.  Life is good - Marley is my friend and shows me love too.

I was abandoned with 4 littermates by my breeder.   Middle TN Sheltie Rescue took us all in.  Mom calls me her brat because I like

to be the boss.   Marley is my best friend and we play together a lot.  One of my favorite things to do is bark at my dad.  Sometimes I sneak around and jump in the doorway where he is watching TV and bark to scare him.   He thinks I am just silly but it's fun - mom makes me stop and sit with her so I can get hugs and pats on the couch.  Destiny and I are friends but we don't play - she doesn't know how.  I don't like strangers or kids - they scare me.
