sassy went to heaven today
hi everyone,
it has been awhile since i have been on but i wanted to let everyone know Sassy passed away today. She had gotten to the point she couldn't even get up to go to the bathroom. we put her down so she wouldn't be in pain anymore. This is the hardest thing i have ever had to do. She was a wonderful friend. She will be sadly missed. I am going to put a video on my profile as a tribute to Sassy. I have cried so many tears today and just when i think there are no more to cry i cry some more. i don't know when the hurt and pain will go away but i hope soon. i don't want to cry i just want to remember her the way she was but right now all i feel is sad. i try to remember all the good times but then cry because i know there will be no more. i know she is no longer suffering and that gives me some comfort. i will miss her and remember her always.

We are so very sorry to hear about Sassy. We just lost our Ellie and know how much it hurts. There is nothing to ease the pain it seems and the sadness is not bearable, but thru all the tears we know how blessed we have been by these wonderful gifts from God. We are sending you prayers.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. I know it may not help now but you have so many wonderful memories that will last you a lifetime, but more importantly, Sassy was the reason for those wonderful memories. She had a wonderful life. You have our sympathy.

We are so sorry to hear about Sassy, We do know your pain, have been there and am facing it again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Go to htpp://www.rainbowbridge.com there are words of comfort and a poem that really helped me. It doesn't go away, but the pain does get better and you always have the wonderful memories.

Our prayers for Sassy. She loved you for the wonderful things that you did for her. Love is about the good and the bad, the easy and the hard. Be strong for Sassy. You released her from her pain and she can now frolic in the green grass like she was a puppy. She will always be with you, espacially when you need her most. My Harley passed away last April. I also had to set him free. I am sure that he was there waiting for her so that he could show her around. We will all get to see our beloved pets again, when it is our time, and we will walk through the gates of heaven with them, together. The pain will subside but it takes time. Remember that she loved you, smile through the hurt, you will see her again. Many hugs.

We are praying for you, and so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it can be, but just know that she is in a better place, and that she had a very happy life and you did what is best for her. She's lucky to have had such a loving family. Hang in there, we are all here for you.
