Sadie is a 2 year old German shepard.  We adopted her from our local shelter almost 3 months ago.  She came in as a stray.  We visited her about 3 times a week for 3 weeks before we could bring her home.  She is a wonderful dog.  She loves my kids who are 2 and 5.  She is definetly my dog though.  she follows me everywhere.  she hates being away from me.  the vet even noticed it.  she is not mean at all.  If there is a strange person she gets really close to me and might bark until i tell her the person is okay.  she is fun to play with but also a great protector for my family.  We love her alot.  It has only been 3 months but we couldn't imagine our lives without her.

Hi my name is Sassy.  I am Sadies aunt.  my sister thought it would be nice to share some info about me.  I am 14 years old and i came to live with my family when I was just 6 weeks old.  I was a Christmas present.  We have had some good times over the years.  I was sad when my sisters moved away but my brother still lives at home with me and my mom.  I go to my sisters (me) once in a while when i don't want to be home alone.  My mom works 2 jobs and my brother is in college and also works so i get lonely sometimes.  My sister loves to have me and me and Sadie get along okay.  I can get grumpy because I am older and like to be left alone.  I lost my hearing about 2 years ago.  That has been hard.  I can't hear when someone comes in the door anymore.  I used to greet people at the door but can't hear them anymore to do that.  My mom also thinks I have cancer but we are not sure yet.  I am getting older and my family worries about me alot.  I have a lot of ear infections that is why i lost my hearing.  They have gotten so bad medicine doesn't even seem to work anymore.  I am spoiled and I love that.  One thing i used to do that my family thought was so funny was I chased the windshield wipers in the car.  they always laughed at that.  I am getting older now so I don't play much anymore but I still love being pet and cuddled.
