Cinnamon is a GREAT dog! I got her through a rescue group from a family who didn't want her anymore. The husband wanted dogs, but the wife didn't. Cinnamon was therefore left outside alone all the time in a fenced in area that was just compacted dirt, not even any grass. It seems she spent all of her time alone and the husband finally decided maybe that wasn't fair to her.

She was 2 1/2 when I got her and she makes me so happy! She is the sweetest girl and she just loves to cuddle. She has been to/through 13 states and is a very good traveler. Because she wasn't around people until I got her, she is still very shy around strangers - even 7 years later. She loves to be with us at all times and loves her walks, greenies, and naps in the big bed!

All my childhood I had always wanted a dog, but we couldn't have one because we lived in a duplex. Then our circumstances changed when I turned 18 and we went to live in a house. Well, my only thoughts were "now I could get a dog"! And before my mom and new step-dad completely said 'yes' to the idea of getting a dog, I got Portney.

It was love at first sight for me, though I don't think the same was true for my parents. The first thing he did when they met him, was piddle on their kitchen floor. But they came around, how could you resist? He was such a sweet, good, fun, playful, loving boy! My dream had come true! He was always happy to see anyone who came to the door and I was his favorite. When I moved out, I had to leave him with my parents, but luckily I could see him every single weekend - which I did! Of course, then, my mom became his favorite!

I miss you, Portnoy Boy, you are forever in my heart.
