Hi, my name is Onyx. I'm an extra large Newfoundland. My mommy and daddy got me from a breeder in Ohio and moved me to Kentucky with them. I didn't have any seperation anxiety from my mommy b/c new mommy was so great! I was crate trained immediately, and I hated it! Now I love it though. Within 3 days of being home I learned how to sit with just a hand motion! I didn't like going outside b/c it was over 90 almost every day and I was really tired too. Mom & Dad had to pick me up and bring me out.I'm a little over a year old now...and 116 lbs...Mom hopes I gain a lot more weight! We just moved to California...We live very close to San Francisco. I don't enjoy the ocean beaches as much as mom thought I would...Its cold and tastes sooooo weird. I do like the weather here though-it's a lot more mild than Kentucky was! It actually cools down here a lot! Mom decided that I would like a friend and since we don't have room for another newfie right now...she got me a CAT. EW. I hate it!!! She just runs around and tries cuddling with MY mommy all the time, ugh! Mom's been doing a good job showing me that I'm still # 1...but geeze, I get so jealous and do naughty things like walk around with socks or kleenex in my mouth, ha! I guess I can get used to that little fur ball soon...and let her walk around without chasing her...
