I had recently lost my (lab mix)  Kayla she was run over and died instantly.  I was dogless for the first time in 10 years and swore to stay that way.  I had a couple of dreams of a big fuzzy faced dog. The local radio station had pound adoptation and mentioned a lab female pup. I went to the pound and the pup looked so much like my Kayla that I didn't feel right about it.  A Man & his young daughter were looking at her too. I decided I couldn't adopt her. I went looking around and came to Dauber's kennel he backed up & growled at me.  I said in my "baby doggy" voice "hey you" "you look like my dog in my dreams" he quickly came over to me and wagged his stump of a tail & I was hooked. I adopted him when he was 9 months old and with some trials & tests but most of all lots of love he has been a really great dog. I believe I was drawn to the pound that day to rescue him. He has been a super watch dog but yet he is great around babies, toddlers and kids. He is my love.
