How's your summer going? I'm Bartholomew Julius Simpson, but just call me Bart.  I am a sweet puppy and bite when I'm excited or bored only because I'm teething.  My mommy takes me out for long walks every night, yet she texts people, calls people, and listens to her iPod while walking me!  I don't have a dad, but I do have 4 grandparents, I live with Grandma and Papa Jim, and Papa Pete occasionally stops by also.  Also I live with Mommy's sisters, Auntie Jo and Aunt Emma.  Occasionally Mommy's brother, Uncle Jimmy spends time in my house, but he is rarely ever there.  I live with another dog named Tequila, who for short is called Tiki, she is 6 1/2 years old.  Also, Tiki is Papa Jim and Aunt Emma's dog, she is a Shiba Inu.  I live with 6 cats, named Maximilian (just call him Max, he's 10 years old), Fiona, Jacqueline (just call her Jackie), Jeffrey (also for short called Jeff), and Marius.  Uncle Max is Grandma's cat, Fiona is Uncle Jimmy's cat, Aunt Jackie is Grandma and Papa Jim's cat, Jeffrey is my feline brother, and Marius and Cleo are Auntie Jo's cats.  All the cats are intimidated by me, since I'm a large puppy, and the other pets are not happy that I am a new member of the family!  All I am trying to do is be friendly and sweet to them!  Tiki is my doggy boss, and Uncle Max is the boss of the kitties! 

I love the water, but don't all retrievers?  Speaking of retrievers, I was born in a litter of 10, at Charlie and Mae's house, my biological mommy is Katie.  I enjoyed being with my brother Max the most, it took a very long time for Max to be sold!  Mae and Charlie are keeping my sister Crissy as their pup, as well as my half-brother Connor and my half-sister Kelly.  I look more like Crissy than any of the other pups in my litter, and I enjoy being with her.  When Mommy, Grandma, and Auntie Jo first met me, everyone in my litter jumped up to them, we were the cutest litter they had ever met!  Mommy also has a wonderful boyfriend named Evan, who is very good with me when he's around!   I love my Mommy very much, though I get jealous when she is holding my feline brother Jeffrey.  From time to time, Papa Jim's friend Dave and his son Dylan come over to my house with their Wheaton Terrier, Nala.
