Our new little girl was an owner turn-in.. a rescue. She had a first family that couldn't/wouldn't make the time for her. They had a young child and decided to give her up to the SCWTA rescue and we are soooo greatful. She is adorable, funny, loving and just a great little furry girl. She loves to play, run, chase... has energy for days! She is lucky to get a chance to go to doggie daycare with our friend JP (Thanks JP). www.clubk-9charlotte.com M-F. This is a god-send. She has become very attached to us and we are giving her a very loving home. We also have a 10 year old male... Watson, who was less than excited with this new addition. He has adjusted nicely and is pretty tolerant of Tillie. This is dedicated to our little girl we lost last year to illness... she was our first rescue and happened to also be named Tilly.... we miss you...

Watson is a very sweet boy.... always loving.... he is slowing down a bit.. gets sad sometimes if he doesn't think he is getting enough love. We call him big daddy sometimes, 'cause he is pretty solid... He has tolerated Tillie very well... she loves him and he loves her even though if you ask him he would say that he doesn't. He really is a mama's boy... my wife is his original owner... He loves me.. just not the same...

This is still tough for me.... she was such a sweet girl... her original family tired of her seperation issues, thunderstorms, etc. They tried to take her to the vet to be put down.... luckily a few months later she made it to us.... she was dirty, skinny, and scared to death. We had very little history... we did finally track the former owners down... it was sad...
She became our sweet girl.. we had to get her into doggie daycare... which was a god-send for her and us. Club K-9 in Charlotte, NC..
We had to schedule everything aroung her not being alone if it was raining, thundering or fireworks... she would loose it. We loved her and did what we needed to do so she could be happy and safe.. She had lot's of health issues.... she finally sucumbed to cancer of the spleen (surgery to remove) She fought but couldn't make it.... It was the hardest thing I have been through... My eyes are welling up as I type this.... We miss you little girl... Love. Mom and Dad and Watson

Hi Pack!
Rocky here.
These are pictures of the parade we went to on Sunday. It's the Mexican Independence Day Parade. I may not be like my family's previous Mexican dogs but this is my new adopted second home. I love Spanish because it's sound so romantique. There were lots of horses! I love horses. My family calls me a mini horse because they say I kind of look like one. This was my second parade and Olivia's first. I was not scared of nothing and everybody loved us. We were practically the only dogs and we even got a big truck that blew a horn just in our honor! Boy, it was fun. I behaved like a great gentleman walking beside mom. My leader carried Olivia in a bag because otherwise people would have not see her and would have stepped on her! She was pretty behaved herself even though it was all knew to her. We made some human kid friends and everyone smiled in our presence. Boy, we can't wait until next year.
By the end of the day, my leader and us were to walk home because the celebration afterwards was tiring for us dogs. With the permission of my leader, I was to walk one step ahead and be her eyes and ears. I stayed focused and very calm with ears back and tail submissively. Olivia was to warn us of any bad energy on the way. My leader had to carry her food because she got hungry! I say we did pretty well. I know my way home like a map in my head. Afterwards, we were ready to eat ourselves.
